Name Brand vs Coreykin
I’ve been using this charger for 1 year and it has always delivered with the utmost fast charging ever for all of my iPhone devices, which includes the iPhone 8, XR, and 12 Pro Max.Anker is known for leading the charging industry, but it seems you pay more for the brand, than the actual wattage on the chargers. This Coreykin 20 watt charger bundle has been working as good as it did the first day I used it, it charges at incredible speeds all the time, making my iPhone XR and 12 Pro Max go from 20% battery to 80% battery constantly within 25-30 minutes, even during use of the phone occasionally, though the minutes may vary.Would recommend whole-heartedly to get your money’s worth compared to Anker chargers since the price of the Coreykin chargers are around $20 for 2 20 watt chargers, which feel and look to have a pretty standard display just like any ordinary apple charger. With Coreykin and Anker charging at the same speeds due to all of Apple’s newest iPhones only needing 20 watts of charging, and both brands succeeding in delivering the charge they said to be, an Anker charger is no more and no less of a simple Coreykin charger, other than the looks. The type C cable can come off of the Coreykin chargers, allowing you to use one type C cable for other uses, while you still have another Coreykin charger for your phone which is great in terms of multi-use.A potential downside that may make you nervous at first when using the chargers could be that it does take literally 1 second before the charger gets recognized by the phone to charge, compared to Apple products that are almost instantly recognized by the phone to charge in an immediate and smooth fashion, but doesn’t have any other con besides losing you that 1 second of charging, that you might quite frankly not notice.Older iPhones will have a lower maximum amount of wattage speed they can take in, meaning that though this charger is a 20 watt charger, an iPhone 8 will not charge as fast as an iPhone 12 with the same charger. With this being said it would be great to clarify that this charger will charge the iPhone 8, and up to the newest iPhones, to 50% of battery within 30 minutes, while iPhone 7 and down are recommended to use 10 watt chargers, since 20 watt chargers won’t make a fast impression for those batteries. Keep this in mind when trying to find a fast charger for older iPhones, and I highly recommend this charger for the newer iPhones.Ver másVer menos
