Saved my hair after harsh processing.

I have used this product several times over the last couple of years. I started using it during Covid when I allowed my hair to go gray. We ended up stripping the rest of the color out of it which weakened my hair strands. I was looking for something that would help with that when I came across this product. I believe it actually saved my hair after the harsh processing.It is expensive, but well worth it if you’re looking to save your hair! It takes very little product to do wonders. It’s very easy to use. After you dry your hair, you put a small amount ( do the amount the instructions say. You need very little!) in your hands and massage it through the ends up to the scalp. I’m always surprised at how much my hair appreciates this product when I haven’t used it for a little bit. Even though I’m not having any additional processing done on my hair, I’m completely gray now, I am using it currently because my hair has felt kind of dry and lifeless. Already within two days I see a huge difference! It has a light pleasant fragrance, is not greasy. I highly recommend!Ver más

The First Product That Actually Helped My Damaged Hair

About ten months ago, my hair was badly damaged during my wedding hairstyle. It was overheated to the point that it started breaking, became almost impossible to brush, and I developed constant tangles at the nape of my neck. I had never experienced anything like that before.UPDATE — Two weeks later: Well, apparently my hair and K18 aren’t ready to part ways just yet. 🙂After two weeks without it, I can see much more clearly what that little bottle actually did for my hair. Considering how short a time I used it, the difference is enough for me to go back — and this time buy the full-size bottle.My hair is already in much better condition than it was when I started, so I’ll probably alternate K18 with my regular hair care rather than use it every wash. I’m going to give it more time and will definitely update this review again after longer-term use.Hopefully, sharing the whole process will be useful to someone dealing with the same kind of hair damage I was.Over the last ten months, I’ve tried quite a few products, hoping to find something that would actually help. So far, K18 has been the only one that has made a noticeable difference.I’ve been using it for about four weeks exactly as directed (shampoo only, no conditioner before applying K18), and here’s what I’ve noticed:• The tangles at the nape of my neck are gone.• My braid feels noticeably thicker. I don’t think I suddenly grew more hair in four weeks, but my hair feels stronger and denser.• My hair has a healthy shine without looking oily.• It’s much easier to brush and doesn’t keep tangling throughout the day.• Most importantly, my hair finally looks well cared for. I actually enjoy wearing it down again because it looks smooth, shiny, and healthy instead of dry and damaged.I’m not calling this a miracle product because I don’t think four weeks is enough time to judge long-term results. Hair recovery takes time.I will definitely buy the full-size bottle and continue using it. I’ll also come back and update this review because I believe four weeks is simply too soon to evaluate a product that’s designed to repair damaged hair. I’m hoping I’ll be able to maintain these results while using it less often, but only time will tell.UPDATE — Very different experience with the larger bottleI’m keeping my original 5-star rating because my review was based on the smaller bottle, and that product genuinely made a huge difference for my damaged hair.However, after finishing it, I purchased the larger size from the same Amazon listing, and my experience has been surprisingly different. Since I had more product, I was actually using a little more each time rather than trying to conserve it — but the results were noticeably worse. My hair started tangling again, and I no longer got the same dramatic softness and manageability that impressed me so much with the smaller bottle.I honestly don’t know why. Maybe my hair changed or became less responsive to the product, maybe there was some variation between batches — I really can’t say. I just know that the difference was obvious enough for me to notice.I’m leaving the 5 stars because they accurately reflect my experience with the smaller size I originally reviewed. But if I were rating the larger bottle separately, I would give it no more than 3 stars.I’m adding this update in case someone else has had a similar experience. Expensive, but Absolutely Worth It!

I’ve tried both K18 and Olaplex, and I honestly think K18 has done a much better job repairing my damaged hair. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in how healthy, soft, and manageable my hair feels. It’s definitely on the expensive side, especially for such a small bottle, but I really do think it’s worth the money. I’ve purchased it more than once and will continue using it. Made a difference in my damaged hair

I have bad heat and mechanical damage to my bangs and this product is the only one that has even come close to repairing the damage. Noticed an improvement after the first use. While it’s obviously not gone yet, it is much better. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth a try. Would recommend!Ver más

Wow big price for tiny bottle

I used this on clean wet hair without using conditioner after keratasse shampoo. I have heavy thick hair that tangles badly without a detangker. The repair leave-in mask worked as a detangker and much more. Very nourishing. Helps to defrizz in humid air too. I might continue to use this and hope and pray the price goes down once their sales volume goes up. It is definitely too expensive and therefore I will not recommend to friends and embarrass them when they see the price. It is a tiny bottle.Ver más

OMG! OMG ! OMG! K-18 FULFILLS ITS CLAIMS Read on!

I’m over 55 and have spent decades trying everything — from $9 to $144 per product — hoping for softer, healthier hair. I have 3a curls hidden under years of color, heat damage, and dryness. My hair would break and frizz so badly it looked like I had layers (I don’t). K18 is the first and only product that actually delivered on its promise to repair — not just coat — my hair. I was fully prepared to return this if it did not make a difference. It did.This isn’t a conditioner or mask. K18 uses a patented technology that works from the inside out. I used a clarifying shampoo, applied 6 pumps (very small pumps from the "try it" bottle!), finger-raked it through damp hair, waited 4 minutes, and then combed through. No rinsing, no other products. I let my hair air-dry, and it already felt softer and smoother with significantly less frizz. No fragrance -makes me happy.Important note: You do not need to rub this aggressively between your palms to "activate" it — that’s a common myth. Just rub your palms lightly so you can apply it evenly and let the science do the work. It works on the keratin molecules to repair your hair from the inside out. Friction is not going to make the molecules smaller. Don't know why people start these rumors.The next morning, I used my straightener on medium heat and was stunned. Instead of the usual dry straw, my hair was sleek, shiny, and bouncy. Even the ends curled beautifully — something I’ve never seen on my hair before.After four treatments, my hair now feels different, although the greatest results came after the very first use.
