Latches are hinged!
The latches on the lids are hinged - unlike similar products that have flexible plastic. The flexible plastic does not survive a trip through the freeze-thaw cycle because the plastic becomes very brittle when frozen. This product has hinged latches that do not fracture when they are frozen - unless you intentionally try to break them. Any plastic will fracture if you stress it too much when at low temps.I like that I can take these out of the freezer, pop the latches & remove the lid, and heat in the microwave whatever was frozen. I've used the other containers and have had several latches fracture when taking the lid off prior to heating.This product has a nice selection of different sizes so that it's easy to find the right size for the amount of food prepared or left over.Very functional and meets all of the expectations I have for containers that I can use to prepare and freeze dishes for later or use to save leftovers without having the food either pick up odors from the refrigerator or permeate the refrigerator with any odors from a strongly seasoned dish. Be aware that they are glass and will shatter if you happen to drop them on a hard surface.Highly recommended!Ver másVer menos

Great value
If you are concerned with microplastics being in your food, these are great storage containers. Yes the lids are plastic, however I do not heat them with the lids on, only for storage. They are sealed so they are air tight. I have used from freezer to fridge to oven (with out lid) and have had no issues. Small sizes are great for dips and hummus for lunches. Perfect sizes for leftovers. Large sizes hold soups and stews and are great for meal prepping. Will purchase more for gifts.Ver másVer menos

I love them but…
They are most definitely breakable if they’re dropped. Otherwise, they’re AWESOME containers and the different sizes are perfect!

Nice heavyweight containers, lids are kinda flimsy.
It comes in a box(ooooo awwww). Inside the box, it comes in four sections of padding. The product itself is divided into four stacks of four. Between the glass bowls are plastic and cardboard to keep them safe from knocking into each other. The containers are heavy, which I like; the lids have four latches that look and feel a little bit flimsy. But we will see with time how they hold up.Ver másVer menos

Nice product, but be careful as the edges chip easily.
Beautiful color. I bought 2 sets, one as a gift. The down side, especially in the case of the set that was a gift, is that the edges chip fairly easily. Otherwise, they are airtight and nice glass containers.

Best deal out there. Best quality out there.
Best deal out there! The order has several sizes and the lids are very sturdy, snap easily and seal extremely well. They don’t leak if I turn them on their sides. I have bought these before and they’re the best glass containers for the freezer that I’ve come across so far. I freeze a lot of food and I can never have enough glass containers.I found the plastic snaps on many of the other similar products break easily. These plastic snaps on the lids are designed differently so they’re very sturdy. And I just ordered another box. I don’t often right reviews but this deal is so amazing that I had to comment about the deal and the Quality as well.Ver másVer menos
