These are cute shorts, however there isn’t a way to tye the strings or pull like a built in belt. I had to roll them to stay on. I think they are a little bigger than size. These are his favorite pair

These shorts are okay. Quality is good, but they are longer than I'd prefer for my son. The price was good.
