  Best red hair dye

Best red hair dye I've ever used. Does not show up pink. It's a conditioning dye so it can stay in your hair for up to 2 hours and wont damage it. Hair came out a deep red and super soft. Also bought the purple. Both colors are very vibrant. And my girls and so excited to be the rumi and mira for halloween (kpop demon hunters movie) the colors are exactly right.Ver másVer menos

  Definitely effective

I used a different semi permanent dye brand that I wasn't pleased with so I bought this because it was a prime day sale and it is BRIGHT. I have light to medium brown hair, so I didn't expect much based on the preview images. I expected maybe a tint, but it is redder than I thought and definitely effective. I am giving it 4 stars because I didn't love the shade at first and it has a hair product smell (not chemicals, a product smell I don't love) but now that it's faded a bit it's much better.I left the product on for 2 hours, like the instructions recommend if you'd like bright hair, and based on my experience, I didn't think it would do much but it really did work and was very bright when it first rinsed out. I've probably washed my hair 5 times since using and it's brighter than I expected it to be at this point but more like what I was expecting. I'd buy this again and maybe mix shades. I wanted a maroon and this is more of a ruby red, as described.Ver másVer menos

My Go-To Hair Color for the Past Two Years

I have been using this semi-permanent hair color for the past two years and can confidently vouch for it. I love the softness it gives my hair immediately after application—it feels smooth and healthy. The color payoff is great, and it easily lasts up to 5–6 washes without noticeable fading. A reliable and gentle option for refreshing hair colorVer másVer menos

Good color but not great on my scalp

Not a great picture but the color looks better in person than on camera for me. I have medium dark brown hair so I wasn’t expecting too much color but it’s pretty red. Looks even better after the first wash in my opinion. I got this for Halloween and I don’t personally love the hue for day to day, but it’s still an improvement on my natural color. I’ll probably leave it in for less time when I reapply and maybe that will have a nicer hue.I have noticed that my scalp has been kind of itchy since dying and more of my hair was falling out than usual before the first wash. Not a scary amount, but noticeable. I left it in for the longest time suggested in the instructions for a more dramatic result, so that may have made it worse. Condition the scalp can dry it out, at least for me so I guess it’s not a surprise, though when I used overtone conditioning dye in the past this didn’t happen. Also, I rinsed my hair thoroughly after dyeing but red did still bleed onto my pillows and clothing around my neck. This also didn’t happen with overtone.Overall, I’m not really mad because I did go for the cheapest dye I could find and it did work quite well. But for the other things I mentioned, I’d probably pay a little more for a different brand next time.Ver másVer menos
