Needs a smooth case to attach!
This phone grip won't work with silicone, leather, or other textured cases. I bought what I thought was a "smooth" non textured case, but it arrived with a rigid design, creating a texture this grip won't work with. This is my own error. I've used these in the past and love them! This one seems to be effective, just not with the case I have. Keep in mind that these are much smaller than normal popsockets. Their functionality is quite different since they don't have the ability to lay flat when not in use, meaning they're always extended! Mine arrived intact and looks identical to the photo displayed. I bought the silver glitter option and it's very pretty. The glitter isn't rough and is coated nicely! I consider these an excellent option for someone who doesn't want to ruin their case with adhesives! When paired with the correct case, they suction very well and offer great stability/support. Though it's smaller in both appearance and at the base where it's held, it's not uncomfortable to use. It's worth a try at the price and especially for anyone that doesn't utilize or have Magsafe as an option.Lastly, there's a clear, round sticker that is in the packaging. It's NOT trash. Cute, small, and works. Doesn't always stay in place. Doesn't last too long.
Edit Feb 2025 (1 Star):The suction cup plastic has gotten more rigid and flat so it can barely suction onto the phone anymore. Very easy to pop off now too by accident. So it worked for a few months and seems like it won't last much longer.-----------------------------OG review (3 Stars):Super pretty (got the glitter) and it's a very cute, small size. Overall I like it, though it could be a better product. It sticks to my iPhone (caseless) alright - on the first use, the mini didn't budge at all. BUT:After about a week it seems to slip easily when in use. If I'm holding my phone solely using the mini, the weight of the phone will slowly make the mini scoot from the middle of my phone to the top. If I use it as a stand to prop my phone on it's side, it will eventually scoot and fall off since it passed the edge of the phone.The weirdest thing I noticed is when I leave the mini off my phone for a day or two, there's some sort of liquid (oil?) that beads up in the suction cup. First time I thought maybe something else condensed on it and wiped it off. But it came back and honestly, it's a dry winter so it seems like it's coming from the mini itself. Maybe that's also what's causing it to slip.Ver másVer menos

Does the job
Use this for my kindle, so I can adjust the placement wherever feels most comfortable. I wish it popped down though, to make it more flush when not in use. However it is very easy to remove and it doesn't come off when reading. It's not as strong as a magnet or adhesive, but it does the job without sliding around.Ver másVer menos

Doesn’t collapse
This is attractive and smaller than the pop socket but I took away two stars because it doesn’t collapse. And it’s a suction cup. It’s actually very good suction I tested it by playing games for awhile and it never budged but if I have to carry this separate from my phone just to be able to put my phone in my pocket then it’s a no go for me.Ver másVer menos

Perfect Little Popsocket!
I got this to test where i’d want a popsocket on my kindle, and it definitely works great! It’s suction is amazing and doesn’t fall off or randomly release from the case. It’s super fun to move around and pop on and off, and even after messing with it a ton, it still sticks great! It’s super durable, lightweight, and a cute design! It is however pretty small compared to a full size popsocket so just keep that in mind :)Ver másVer menos

Edit:Originally I said it wasn't super reliable because I had been using it and it came unstuck several times. Since then I haven't had it come unstuck at all (unless I was moving it myself) so I'm pretty confident that it was user error on my part. I think what was happening was I put it too far away from the edge so when I was holding my kindle, my hand was "pulling" it and unsealing the suction cup. After moving it around to a different spot I had much better results and it sat really comfortably in my hand. So I definitely recommend this for someone who frequently takes off their pop grip/pop socket on their phone/tablet/whatever. Only downside is if you don't need to use it, you have to take it completely off instead of just popping it down like a pop socket. So just depends on your needs.Original review: I got this to use on my new kindle because I previously had a popsocket and it worked great but I wanted to be able to easily move it around wherever I wanted or take it off. I'm not sure if it was just the case I was using (which was a clear plastic case, not textured) or how I was holding it in my hand when I read, but the suction cup came unstuck a couple times over the few days I've had it on. which resulted in almost hitting myself in the face with my kindle multiple times. It's weird because it seems really secure initially but when I actually sit down and read with it on it ends up unsticking, so it could just be the way it's being held or user error, Idk. It's very cute though, and I expected it to feel like a glitter texture from the pictures but it's completely smooth which I like. I may try it out on something else eventually, just didn't work for what I needed it for.Ver másVer menos
