  Different fit between brushed and regular

  I bought one pair of the “brushed buttery soft” and the two pack of the normal 8”, all in size M (I’m 5’1”, 150 lbs). The 5 stars is for the brushed ones- they are stretchy, flattering, soft and are so nice I would wear them on their own (I bought these to go under sundresses to prevent chub rub and give me hidden pockets when there aren’t any on my dress). They don’t move an inch (riding up or sagging down) even when I run and have phones stuffed in each pocket (I carry my work and personal phones). Despite being soft, they feel well made and substantial enough that they won’t wear out quickly. The set of two get 3 stars. They fit much tighter and are less flattering- the waste band cuts in a bit instead of lying flat. No sagging, but I’ll keep them for under loose dresses and won’t wear them out. I’m actually here to buy another pair of the buttery soft ones!Ver másVer menos

  Good pair of shorts for running

  Very comfortable, minimal compression but does the job for me when running. I'm a true small and small is perfect for me. Gone through 6-7 washes now and no signs of wear or color fading at all. Pockets are very durable; keeps my iPhone and keys in place.

  Sure Fit

  Love these shorts. 2 side pockets and small front pocket for keys or card. Glad I purchased 3 of them. Love that my phone just slides into the pockets n stead of shoving it in.

  Great shorts - pictures don't accurately reflect some of the colors

  These shorts are almost perfect. The fabric feels great, the pockets are sturdy and they don't slide down while I'm wearing them. The black and the purple match the description perfectly; however the blue ones are not at all the same color as the model. They are such a dark blue that they are almost black. I returned them thinking I was sent the wrong color, but then the replacement was the same color as the original. I'll be returning that one too since I don't love the color.   Flattering, fits well, and doesn't ride up or down!

  Truly the best long shorts I have found and the price is right. The material is soft and comfy, they don't ride up or down...perfect for long runs to avoid chafing and discomfort. Only thing I wish is for Baleaf to add a tie inside in case you want to make them a bit more snug. Otherwise, extra pocket in the waistband along with the side pockets. Excellent.Ver másVer menos

  Believe the hype!

  I've been so disappointed by highly rated Amazon clothing before. These shorts are the real deal, I like them as much as my zella leggings (my former go-to) I ordered a M (5'9", 155#, 28" waist) and they fit great. I have capital-t Thighs, and I bought the 8" length. They don't bunch or roll up! Easy on and off, with a slight compressive feel due to the sturdy fabric. The center front seam had not caused any embarrassing shorts cleavage.I already ordered a second pair, in the "buttery soft" variety. They are also fab, better for lounging. The fabric feels softer (maybe a little bit thinner?) and does not give that compressive feeling. They have no front seam, so you'll never have to pick a frontal wedgie out of these bad boys. Now I need to buy a bunch more of these so I can truly live my best shut-in quarantine life.Ver másVer menos
