Perfect Design and Functionality
There are hundreds of power strips on the market so what is so great about this particular product?Well, to begin with this is literally a strip of outlets all in a row with the design of each outlet sideways instead of being in the same direction. Now when you plug in a power pack from any number of electronic devices, it tends to not overcrowd the adjacent outlets.The two USB outlets are isolated all by themselves at the end of the strip. There is no chance that when something is plugged into the strip, the USB outlets are crowded out or practically inaccessible.The 5' long power cord is a big plus as well as the design of the flat, flexible braided material. The plug connector on the end is flat with the cord being offset 45 degrees so as to not interfere with any other plugs in adjacent outlets. That flat plug allows furniture and other objects to be pushed up against the outlet or as close a possible. I wish all plugs came with that design.I also like the ON/OFF switch which at first glace seems to be nothing more than just a plain, rocker switch but in reality serves as a 900 joule surge protector that can be reset whenever an overload condition were present. When the unit is turned into the ON position, just a small circular green LED is illuminated which is not overpowering in brightness like others I have seen.Here's one more thing this product has: 4 keyhole mounting slots in the back of the base making is easy to mount the strip on a wall or perhaps the backside of a desk or computer table. You'd be surprised at the number of other similar products that lack this simple feature.The only thing that I am upset with is the fact that I bought only one pack of two strips. I wish I had bought at least two packs if not more. Then I would have thrown out all those older, junk ones still laying around the garage.Definitely recommended.Ver másVer menos
