Great for School Lunches Without a Microwave

  1. First ImpressionsWe got this Thermos Funtainer for our child’s school lunches since there’s no access to a microwave, and it’s been a lifesaver. The size is perfect for a single portion, and the purple color is fun and kid-friendly.2. Product PerformanceThis jar does exactly what it promises—it keeps food warm from early in the morning until lunchtime. I prep it around 7 AM and when my child eats around 12 PM, the food is still hot. A tip that’s really helped: fill it with hot water for a few minutes before adding the food, then empty and add the meal. It really improves heat retention. The included foldable spoon is a great bonus and fits right into the lid.3. ProsKeeps food warm for 5+ hoursCompact and fits easily in lunch bagsBuilt-in foldable spoon is super convenientEasy to clean and kid-friendly design4. ConsNone so far. Just be sure to pre-warm it for best results.5. Final ThoughtsIf your child’s school doesn’t allow microwave access, this is a must-have. It’s durable, functional, and makes it easy to send hot meals from home without worry. Highly recommend for soups, pasta, mac and cheese, or even chicken and rice.Ver másVer menos

Great buy keeps food warm for toddlers

My baby loves this thermo. I placed hot cereal in it and it stayed warm for about 2 hrs roughly. I purchased stickers for him to add to it and he enjoyed doing that. It holds enough for an elementary kid. He is full. Washes easy and fits well in his lunch bag. This was an great buyVer másVer menos

Perfect for School Lunches – Keeps Food Hot & Fresh! 🥣💙

The THERMOS FUNTAINER 10 oz Food Jar in Teal has been a total win for packing kids’ lunches. It’s the perfect size for soups, pasta, oatmeal, or snacks, and it keeps food at the right temperature for hours. The insulation is excellent—hot foods stay warm until lunchtime, and cold items stay fresh without any leaks or sweating. The lid seals tightly, so I never have to worry about spills in a backpack, which is a huge relief.I also love the included spoon—it stores neatly inside and makes it super convenient for kids to use at school without needing extra utensils. The wide opening makes it easy to fill, eat from, and clean afterward. The build quality feels very durable, and it’s clearly designed to handle daily use by kids without any issues. Plus, the teal color is fun and vibrant, which makes it a favorite. If you’re looking for a reliable, leak-proof food jar for school or travel, this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!Ver másVer menos

Good for School Lunches, but Not for All-Day Heat Retention

This is a good and practical container for my child's school lunch. It is easy to use, the folding spoon is convenient, and the size is perfect for packing warm meals. However, in my experience, it does not keep food hot for 8 hours, and definitely not 24 hours. It keeps food warm well for about 4 to 5 hours, which is enough for a school lunch but not for all-day use.Overall, it is a quality product and works well for its intended purpose, but the heat retention claims seem a bit optimistic.Ver másVer menos

  Great choice for work/school

This thermos got me through high school. It does a good job at retaining heat. From 5am to 12pm, soups I’ve saved have stayed warm even if not as hot. But it’s crucial to preheat the thermos for best results. I haven’t had any leaking issues, and it’s small enough to fit into most lunch bags.Ver másVer menos
