AmFilm is Absolutely The Best

My wife and I have used amFilm brand exclusively on our last couple iPhones. The tray system makes installation a snap with no bubbles. It takes longer to watch the installation video than it does to do the actual installation. My wife is extremely rough on her iPhone, and is on her third set of amFilm screen protectors. However, if it wasn’t for the screen protectors, her screen would’ve cracked twice. Recently, I dropped my 3 year old iPhone 12 face down on jagged boulders and the screen protector did its job; it cracked, but the screen didn’t. I couldn’t find the extras that came with the original purchase so I went out and replaced it with amFilm brand again. This is the real deal. amFilm is the only brand I’ll use.Ver más

Easy to apply and the longest lasting screens I have ever used!

This is the only brand I buy! I am very tough on my screen protectors because I am always throwing my keys and other objects in my pocket. I have dropped my phone right on theses screen protectors and have never had one shatter. They do tend to flake off on the sides after a long time of use and abuse by me, so I do have to change them out every couple months, but with other brands, they usually did not last a week. Like I said, I am hard on these.Ver más

Product ok.

Disclaimer: I’m not a pro at installing screen protectors and I’m not on my phone anywhere near the amount that the average person is, so don’t have as much wear and tear to use for comparison against average-use screen protector longevity. The first screen protector went on fine I guess. Had to do it twice due to bubbles that I couldn’t get out the first time. But I re-used the same protector the second time and it worked. The next day I managed to drop my phone (which I’d never done before.. had iPhones for years and never dropped it), and the protector cracked pretty badly.Which is why we buy the multi-pack, right? So I installed the next protector. Went on ok.I do wish the protector would go out further towards the edge. That it covered more real estate. It comes up short. I don’t know if that’s standard for all protectors or not. Maybe not have it go all the way to the edge but make it go further than it does. I use an iPhone case also.. there’s no way I’d ever use just a screen protector and go without a protective case like some people do. But even with the case wrapping around to the front and taking up a teeny bit of the front edge, there’s a millimeter gap going around the whole screen, between the protector and case on the front. So I have to use my nail to try to clean out dust and stuff that accumulates at the edge of the protector, and the edge is quite visible. If I didn’t have the case then the gap after the protector would be more annoying.I’ve dropped my phone several times with the second protector on and the protector hasn’t yet cracked. Which I’m surprised with. The first protector happily cracked so I must not be dropping it at the angles which would crack the second. But I think this box of protectors is sending out energies into the universe that make me drop my phone. Going from never dropping since iPhones came out to dropping every couple of weeks since purchasing these is disturbing. Or I signaled to the universe that I needed my screen protected and the universe filled in the gaps on why it’s needed. I dunno. There’s something odd about it all. My phone is still intact, aside from a tiny chip at the very bottom edge where the case doesn’t cover and the protector doesn’t reach, which I got when cracking the first protector. But that’s an open, unprotected gap near the charger and speakers and I don’t think there was a way to protect that edge without having the protector go right to the edge.. so since nothing else has scratched/cracked my phone yet I guess the protector has been doing its job. This second protector also developed a fingernail-sized bubble at the middle bottom edge that I haven’t been able to scrape out. It showed up about a month after installing. Kind of annoying. I think the protectors could use just a little more sticking power. I don’t use my phone enough or subject my phone to enough harsh conditions for the protector to be coming up.

Best quality and value screen protector

Don't pay $20 (or higher) for the brands at Best Buy and likewise. These are just as good, if not better. You also get three. I love the installation assist frame they include, too. I've also tried $5 glass protectors from Walmart and Five Below and those do not feel as smooth as this. I feel its worth noting that instead of placing the screen protector down, gently drop it into place, and then smooth it out exactly as the instructions say otherwise you will end up with bubbles you can't get rid of without trying again with a new one.Ver más
