I’m really happy I decided to try this Heat Slayer spray. After my hair’s been washed and damp, I mist it on before blow-drying or ironing, and it does a beautiful job of protecting against heat damage (the label says it protects up to 450 °F).I like how my hair comes out noticeably softer, smoother, and shinier with much less frizz. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy (as long as I don’t over-apply), and it even makes combing through damp hair easier.The light, pleasant scent is a nice bonus. And it really seems to help preserve the health of hair that gets frequently styled with heat. It smells delicious, it softens, but it's a little greasy.
I give this L'Oréal Elvive heat protectant 4 stars. It's a very good product, and I always use it before blow-drying my hair, which is the only way I use it. I feel like it does its job. It smells really good. My hair feels noticeably softer after drying, which is a huge plus. If you're looking for protection from the heat of a hairdryer, I feel like this product works and would recommend it to others.The only thing that takes a star off is the feel. The product is a bit greasy (or heavy) if you apply too much. You have to be careful with the amount, especially if you have fine hair or tend to get oily easily, as it can weigh it down a bit.Conclusion: A good product overall with an incredible scent that really softens. Love this
This is the best protectant I have ever used. My hair is full looking and soft but holds my style. It isn’t heavy or greasy and I only shampoo my hair every three days but you cannot tell this keeps my hair looking good.
