Very sturdy but heavy.
Recently I needed an extra workstation area in another room away from my main desk for my laptop. Using a TV table was messing up my posture as these tables are too low for my height. But that was the only possible table size for the space. And it has to be a small table that can get folded. Regular laptop stands don’t add enough height so I decided to try this one after seeing many positive reviews for it.So the first thing that I noticed is the weight of the stand. It’s quite heavy but that’s good as we don’t want a stand that’s prone to tipping over. The second is how stiff the joints are, not easy to adjust. But that good also as the stand should be able to resist the pressure of continuous typing on the keyboard. Once I got the stand adjusted for the laptop, working on the TV table became comfortable and easy on the posture. However the height and weight of the stand with the laptop on it isn’t what your standard TV table is built for. The table I’m using is wobbly, not dangerously wobbly, but wobbly enough to make typing a bit distracting. Using other apps that don’t require lots of typing are fine. I’m sure a good sturdy desk won’t have this problem. One drawback is if you want to store the stand without collapsing it flat again (which isn’t easy anyway), it does take up a bit of storage space.I’m happy that I have it, a real back saver.Ver másVer menos
