Great product, great performance, very convenient, storage/charging station could be more neat
We have had our Shark vacuum for a few months already, I could not be happier after giving it a try in our day to day life. Here is the story, our previous Electrolux cordless vacuum came to the end of its life, very nice and neat design, looks great, but honestly, performance was never super great, but just descent. We heard our friends so many times talking about how happy they were with their Shark vacuum, but we had to stick to our Electrolux until it died... some painful wait to be honest, like when you know you need something better but you invested on this and now you have to swallow it... but the time came, and it finally died after 5 years. So we got it, the Shark vacuum we heard so much about, new model, some different than our friends’ , expectations were high, and I have to say it, our first impression was some disappointing, we actually didn’t think was “pretty”. We immediately got annoyed by the fact it doesn’t have a “dock station” where you can just return the vacuum and dock it to recharge. As you can see in the pictures the bottom part of the floors vacuum works as the dock station, and you need to plug/unplug the charging cord every single time you start/stop using it, it was not the best start for us, the “Storage+Charging Station” piece of this design was clearly not a priority and probably a way to avoid costs going up to focus on performance. However, that being said, from there, everything was a joy, this vacuum really does the job, battery last long enough, does a good job on floors and carpets, is light, very maneuverable, emptying the bin is a breeze, we are so happy with it that it made us forget about the docking issues (a good trade off for the great performance), its performance and quality is outstanding.
