Amazing gift for both newcomer Anime fans and veterans alike.

Initial thoughts before opening:I was really impressed that there was no damage to the limited-edition storage box whatsoever. I was very pleased not to find any damage to the corners of said box, because that is usually the first place to get bent or crushed. But there was none, hurray! It looks great and was super convenient not having to buy 8 individual parts, S01 PT1-4 & S02 PT1-4. I was able to find this on a super sale and paid $79 before tax, it was a PHENOMENAL DEAL. That is the main reason I am still giving this a 5/5. I recommend trying to catch this on sale if you can! Even if you can’t though, you are going to get your money’s worth, 20 discs & 102 episodes of Black Clover. Basically, it boils down to $2 an episode which is honestly a hard price to beat for such a wonderful series IMO. If you had to buy 8 individual parts, it would set you back about $400. So, this is a steal even full priced, and they would be the standard versions not Limited Edition.After opening the Limited Amazon Exclusive Edition, I quickly realized that the manufacturer, FUNimation, was lax with their quality control. Season 01 was the worst in terms of damage to the discs, there were 5 of 10 discs with multiple large scratches & marks. The case itself was also pretty in poor condition, not damage wise but the discs wouldn’t stay “locked” into their respective trays. The little circular clips were worn to the point where they just didn’t hold the discs, so when first opening several of the discs were loose in the case and were not secured. This is NOT Amazon’s fault; the items were all sealed in the original shrink wrap so there was nothing that could have been done & were not damaged in the fulfillment process or shipping process. Rather, the fault lies with the FUNimation & their Quality Control Department. I will say that I was able to buff out some of the smudges with a brand-new microfiber cloth. However, the scratches & marks remained. The blu-rays still play from what I could tell, I did the fast forward on 120x speed test, and it didn’t freeze up or glitch out, so it seems to be aesthetic only thank goodness. The case itself was an easy fix I ordered a replacement Blu-Ray 10-disc case that did wonders and each of the discs are now held in place, it was 13$ for it but well worth it IMO.Season 02 had damage to 5 of 10 of the blu-rays as well. However, while there were more smudges and marks, I was able to buff them out. The scratches were also much smaller than the previous season. Like the Season 1 several of the discs were loose inside the case, but I was able to snap them back in and the “circular” clips were in much better condition and held them firmly in place.Finally, the bonus box. It includes a cute little Nero ornament, a nifty Asta & Yuno acrylic standee, a “Holiday” Fabric Poster [the one before the New Year], & my favorite of them all Asta’s Sword Letter Opener. It may be silly how excited I was about this sword, but this thing is legit. I have been looking for a decent letter opener of the Japanimation variety for a long time & I finally found it. This sword is on the larger side, it being a letter opener, and has a great weight to it. It is also worth mentioning this collection includes digital copies of both seasons.Final thoughts on this Amazon Exclusive Edition Season 1 & 2 Complete Digital = 5/5:All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase and if I had to do it again I WOULD. If I had paid full price, I would have been upset about all the scratches and marks on half of the discs, you can see the pictures I have attached to the review. BUT IT WASN’T AMAZON’S FAULT. I am very pleased with the fulfillment on behalf of Amazon. I am a bit disappointed in the manufacturer’s, FUNimation, quality control. When they charge top dollar for this stuff it needs to be top dollar quality and they need to beef up their QC Department.This is an amazing addition to my collection. I would recommend this as a gift for Anime newcomers & veterans alike. It is a very good series that has earned a special place in my heart.Ver más

Black clover is a great series. The disc work and it was a nice box set. Almost the only the only way you can get get the English dubbed.

Great value

This is mostly for the value of the set. Easy to see when you look at the prices of the individual sets. The series itself…think Naruto. This has some very strong similarities. If you like Naruto, then it’s great. If you hated Naruto, you might have some issues with this. Honestly it is a pretty good series to enter with, dealing with the idea of perseverance and giving your all. The action and animation is good overall.Ver más

Way better then I thought it would be!

I love this product its well put together and I'm very surprised how much I like it. It has episodes 1-102 seasons 1&2 I enjoy black clover and have been a fan since the beginning. Great show and great item to have. Really liked the sword wasn't plastic and actual metal so it has a nice weight to it. It says it's a letter opener.Ver más

Great Value! The Extras Are Cool!

The Demon-Slayer Sword "letter opener" (it's not sharp enough to actually be useful for that) has some actual heft to it and is really cool!!! Unfortunately, a couple of the Blu-ray discs do not clip into their case properly (for me at least), so I have to be really careful about opening and closing the case as a result, else they get scratched. Other than that, no issues. Also, in regards to The Grimm Collector's review, you have to pull the plastic cover off of the Nero, Yuno, & Asta items! Once you do, they become much clearer!Ver más
