These 100% cotton Fruit of the Loom undershirts are the perfect thickness to do the task. I also sleep in these t-shirts for temperature control and moisture wicking at night. The collars are soft with plenty of neck room so you don't feel like you're being choked. These are also without tags stitched behind the neck, which means there isn't anything to scratch you. Stains come out fairly easily with bleach or any laundry pre-treatment spot spray. I've tried many different t-shirts and have found this to be these combination of features and price.
