  My niece & nephew love them

  My sister needed insulated water bottles for my 5 y.o. niece & 9 y.o. nephew for school & to take w/ them for long trips in the car. I bought 1 in blue for my nephew & 1 in purple for my niece & they instantly fell in love w them. My sis says the kiddos act like they won the lotto & that makes me happy.I bought these for the following reasons; they look durable, have a solid cover (more sanitary), have a straw, it’s both lock & leak proof, available in cute colors, the 14oz size makes it light enough for them to carry around all day in their back packs, water stays chilled for several hours, the product has several positive reviews, offers free returns if dissatisfied, offers prompt shipping w/in hrs & all at the right price!I was tempted to knock off 1 star bc at 1st glance, I honestly thought they came with a rubbery type cover to help prevent slippage & bottle damage when dropped bc the kids trashed their little hydro flasks, which are not cheap. My sis also seems to think these won’t last bc the kids are pretty rambunctious, but that’s normal. I think the pros definitely beat these 2 minor cons & everyone is happy!Ver másVer menos

  Cap breaks easily

  Update: I contacted the manufacturer through their support website and they replaced the part. I didn’t realize it had a good warranty on it so I’m genuinely happy I don’t have to buy another bottle.Started off great. Then quality shot down. Bought this for my son and have been using it periodically for about six weeks. The cap won’t close now so it makes the whole thing awkward . Can’t use it now since it can’t be carried from the holder. What a waste of money. Look for something else.Ver másVer menos

  Huge design flaw

  Serious design flaw. Ive bought two of these now and both stopped working within a couple of months. There is some kind of design defect that causes the lid to stop latching after some light wear. Since the top stays sprung open without the latch and because there are no pieces that reduce the flow of water, if the lid is open the water just dumps out of the bottle if turned upside down. So my kindergartener, for example, will accidently dump his whole water bottle out of his backpack because the lid stops latching and stays spring open without the lack, making it not just worthless but making a huge mess in the process.   Read this before buying!!!

  I bought this for my baby (10 months old) because I have my own ello bottle which he apparently learned how to drink out of without chocking. That being said leakproof is an absolute must. After receiving the bottle I tested it and it leaked a lot from the air spout that’s above the sipping mouth piece. It was until I went through plenty of reviews that I came across a video showing a little piece of silicone that was meant to be introduced in the air spout. With that, it’s completely leak proof so long as the lid is closed. My only complaints are that 1: nowhere did it mention having/needing that silicone piece to prevent leaking. 2: The silicone piece was not already placed on the air spout which makes no sense to me. And 3: I think the silicone piece was inside of the cap so when I opened it, it must’ve fallen out without me realizing. Only after watching the video mentioned before, did I realize that I had dropped it because I knew to look for it.Overall, the bottle seems great, good size and I do like the color of it as well, but they do need to either have that silicone piece attached already, mention it somewhere or at least have it inside the bottle with the care card and inside a little ziplock bag so it won’t get lost easily.Ver másVer menos
