Excellent for Kids – Durable, Leak-Proof, and Stylish!

I purchased the Ello Emma 14oz Kids Water Bottle in Gray/Green for my child, and it has exceeded expectations in many ways. Here's a breakdown of my experience:Durability:The stainless steel construction feels solid and premium. My child has dropped it a few times, and it withstood the impacts without any noticeable damage. It’s built to last, which is essential for active kids.Insulation Performance:This bottle keeps drinks cold for up to 14+ hours, which is fantastic. I filled it with ice water in the morning, and by the time my child returned from school, the water was still refreshingly cold. It’s perfect for school, sports, and outdoor activities.Leak-Proof Design:The locking lid and straw mechanism work beautifully to prevent leaks. Even when the bottle is tossed into a backpack, there’s no sign of spills or drips. The leak-proof feature gives me peace of mind, especially during commutes.Kid-Friendly Features:The built-in carrying handle and compact 14oz size make it easy for little hands to carry. It fits perfectly in a standard car cup holder and a school lunchbox. The straw is soft yet sturdy, allowing for easy sipping without any discomfort.Ease of Cleaning:The lid and straw are dishwasher-safe, which makes cleaning a breeze. The removable silicone spout is an added bonus, as it ensures a thorough clean. While the bottle itself is hand-wash recommended, the wide mouth simplifies the process.Design and Aesthetics:The Gray/Green color is neutral yet appealing, and my child loves the sleek look. It’s stylish without being over the top, making it suitable for various occasions.Areas for Improvement:The lid’s locking mechanism, though secure, can be slightly stiff for younger kids to open independently. It might require some adult assistance initially. While the bottle is durable, a protective rubber sleeve could provide extra grip and cushioning for drops, especially for younger users.Final Thoughts:The Ello Emma water bottle is an excellent choice for parents looking for a reliable, stylish, and functional hydration solution for their kids. Its superior insulation, leak-proof design, and kid-friendly features make it a standout product. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this to anyone with active children.Ver másVer menos

  Great bottle

As a parent, I am always on the lookout for products that are not only functional but also safe and appealing to my kids. The Ello Emma 14oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel bottle has proven to be an excellent choice for my children, and here's why.One of the standout features of this bottle is its impressive ability to keep beverages at the desired temperature for an extended period. Whether it's keeping their water refreshingly cold during outdoor activities or maintaining the warmth of their favorite hot drink during colder months, the vacuum insulation of the Ello Emma bottle is truly remarkable. The design of the Ello Emma bottle is both kid-friendly and eye-catching. Its vibrant colors and appealing patterns immediately caught my children's attention, making it a fun accessory for them to carry around. The 14oz size is ideal for their smaller hands, providing the perfect balance between capacity and portability.Cleaning the Ello Emma bottle is a breeze, which is a relief for busy parents. The wide mouth allows for easy access, making it simple to add ice cubes or give it a thorough cleaning. The stainless steel material is durable and resistant to odors and stains, ensuring that the bottle remains in great condition even with frequent use. While the Ello Emma bottle has numerous strengths, there are a couple of minor areas for improvement. The lid, although secure, could be made even easier for kids to open and close independently. Additionally, a wider range of color options would be a fantastic addition to cater to different preferences. In summary, the Ello Emma 14oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel bottle has been a hit with my kids. Its impressive temperature retention, kid-friendly design, and ease of cleaning make it a reliable choice for their hydration needs. Despite a few minor areas for improvement, I wholeheartedly recommend this bottle to parents who are looking for a safe, practical, and visually appealing option for their children.Ver másVer menos

My niece & nephew love them

My sister needed insulated water bottles for my 5 y.o. niece & 9 y.o. nephew for school & to take w/ them for long trips in the car. I bought 1 in blue for my nephew & 1 in purple for my niece & they instantly fell in love w them. My sis says the kiddos act like they won the lotto & that makes me happy.I bought these for the following reasons; they look durable, have a solid cover (more sanitary), have a straw, it’s both lock & leak proof, available in cute colors, the 14oz size makes it light enough for them to carry around all day in their back packs, water stays chilled for several hours, the product has several positive reviews, offers free returns if dissatisfied, offers prompt shipping w/in hrs & all at the right price!I was tempted to knock off 1 star bc at 1st glance, I honestly thought they came with a rubbery type cover to help prevent slippage & bottle damage when dropped bc the kids trashed their little hydro flasks, which are not cheap. My sis also seems to think these won’t last bc the kids are pretty rambunctious, but that’s normal. I think the pros definitely beat these 2 minor cons & everyone is happy!Ver másVer menos

  Cap breaks easily

Update: I contacted the manufacturer through their support website and they replaced the part. I didn’t realize it had a good warranty on it so I’m genuinely happy I don’t have to buy another bottle.Started off great. Then quality shot down. Bought this for my son and have been using it periodically for about six weeks. The cap won’t close now so it makes the whole thing awkward . Can’t use it now since it can’t be carried from the holder. What a waste of money. Look for something else.Ver másVer menos

  Huge design flaw

Serious design flaw. Ive bought two of these now and both stopped working within a couple of months. There is some kind of design defect that causes the lid to stop latching after some light wear. Since the top stays sprung open without the latch and because there are no pieces that reduce the flow of water, if the lid is open the water just dumps out of the bottle if turned upside down. So my kindergartener, for example, will accidently dump his whole water bottle out of his backpack because the lid stops latching and stays spring open without the lack, making it not just worthless but making a huge mess in the process. We will find something with a better design.Ver másVer menos

  Read this before buying!!!

I bought this for my baby (10 months old) because I have my own ello bottle which he apparently learned how to drink out of without chocking. That being said leakproof is an absolute must. After receiving the bottle I tested it and it leaked a lot from the air spout that’s above the sipping mouth piece. It was until I went through plenty of reviews that I came across a video showing a little piece of silicone that was meant to be introduced in the air spout. With that, it’s completely leak proof so long as the lid is closed. My only complaints are that 1: nowhere did it mention having/needing that silicone piece to prevent leaking. 2: The silicone piece was not already placed on the air spout which makes no sense to me. And 3: I think the silicone piece was inside of the cap so when I opened it, it must’ve fallen out without me realizing. Only after watching the video mentioned before, did I realize that I had dropped it because I knew to look for it.Overall, the bottle seems great, good size and I do like the color of it as well, but they do need to either have that silicone piece attached already, mention it somewhere or at least have it inside the bottle with the care card and inside a little ziplock bag so it won’t get lost easily.Ver másVer menos
