Worth the price, I like them.
These are are nice pencils. Such a vibrant array of colors to choose from. They work well on Cardstock or regular paper and several different coloring books. The additional item's in the package are really cool to have. The Sketchbook is really nice. I also love the pencil extenders. It is well worth the price. A couple had broken tips but that's not a big deal you get several sharpeners. The coloring book is fair unfortunately the pictures are not one sided. The paper quality is very good though. The tin case is nice and sturdy. I do wish the trays were a bit sturdier.Ver másVer menos

Great!!!!
I recently purchased Shuttle Art color pencils, and I am extremely satisfied with their overall performance. Their suitability for artists of all skill levels makes them a great addition to any coloring collection. Whether you're coloring for relaxation or creating detailed artwork, these pencils deliver excellent results. One feature I appreciate is their erase ability, which allows for minor corrections without significantly damaging the paper. The pencils also have a comfortable fit, making them easy to hold and use for extended periods without discomfort. The material used in the pencils feels durable and high-quality, and the color cores provide smooth, rich pigmentation. Their versatility is another major advantage, as they work well for blending, shading, layering, and fine details. Additionally, their portability makes them convenient to take on trips, to school, or anywhere creativity strikes.Overall, Shuttle Art color pencils offer outstanding quality, versatility, and value. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and enjoyable colored pencils.Ver másVer menos

Great
These are a yes the little trays they come in are a little wobbly, but all you got to do is glue a piece of cardstock on the bottom. Then they don't wobble and spill when you take them out. the color spreads evenly. they blend well. they got a good variety of every color. they got a good collection of Browns and skin tone colors, so you don't have to buy them separately. get involved... and they're reasonably priced. the tin box it comes with makes it a little bit more decadent than your average economy color pencils. if you're trying to choose between these and the other one... going ahead and pick these... tell him Kimiko sent youVer másVer menos

If I could recommend something it would be these colored pencils
I absolutely love these colored pencils. I think these are by far my favorite. The colors are beautiful and I love how smooth they color. You get so many for a reasonable price. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money so that’s why I’m very happy with the price and quality. Very neat how they included a sheet with all the names of the colored pencils the only thing I didn’t like was they weren’t in order so I had to take them all out and reorganize. But that’s me being nit picky.Ver másVer menos

Shuttle Art 80 Colored Pencils Review (pencils only set)I want to start by saying that I know it isn’t really fair to directly compare budget-friendly colored pencils to professional artist-grade pencils. That said, affordability matters, and I know a lot of people are trying to figure out what pencils are right for them, not what’s technically the best on the market.I bought the Shuttle Art 80 colored pencil set because I had a very limited color range with the expensive 24-color Polychromos set I purchased. I especially wanted more purples and pinks, and I just couldn’t justify the cost of expanding the Polychromos line to get the range I wanted.Ease of use:- One thing I really like about the Shuttle Art pencils is the precision. In my opinion, they stay sharper and allow for finer detail. You can see this in the strawberry seeds in my comparison, which are darker and more defined on the Shuttle Art side.- Where Polychromos really shines is blending and shading. The gradients are smoother and more seamless with much less effort. You might not see it clearly in photos, but the Shuttle Art pencils can leave visible lines that are harder to blend away.Color vibrancy and layering:-Polychromos pencils are definitely more vibrant and effortless when it comes to laying down pigment. With Shuttle Art, I have to press harder and build up more layers to get similar saturation, which can sometimes lead to unwanted burnishing.- You also need far fewer layers and much less pressure with Polychromos to achieve strong color.- That said, Shuttle Art gives you so many colors to choose from, which is a huge plus. The color variety alone makes them very appealing, especially if you’re feeling limited by a smaller artist-grade set.- Because these are wax-based pencils, burnishing is also easier compared to oil-based pencils like Polychromos.Final thoughts:- If you want a large set of colored pencils that are okay quality for an incredible price, these definitely deliver.- If you want pencils that are easy to blend and give you a smooth, effortless coloring experience, you may want to look into other brands.- Personally, I don’t think I’ll ever spend the money required to own a full Polychromos color range. I don’t regret buying the 24 colors I have and I will happily keep using them, but I’m not willing to pay that much again for more colors.- The Shuttle Art pencils are not bad quality at all. They are perfectly usable and enjoyable, but some colors feel waxy and don’t give me the effortless experience I personally want when coloring.- I’m planning to try Black Widow or Prismacolor next. They’re still more expensive than Shuttle Art, but much more affordable than Polychromos.- For the price, if you’re undecided, I don’t think it’s a bad idea at all to try these yourself. If they don’t meet your expectations, they would make a great gift or donation for someone who would love them.- I would not recommend buying Polychromos before trying other brands. They are extremely expensive, and I don’t think they’re the best starting point for most people. I don’t regret my purchase, but I know I’ll never be able to afford all the colors I’d want.- Overall, these pencils are definitely on par with, and possibly better than, common name brands like Crayola.
