Awesome Mount
The MOUNT-IT! Motorized Fireplace TV Wallmount has been a game-changer for our home entertainment setup. The ability to adjust the TV's position with the press of a button is incredibly convenient, especially when viewing angles need to shift depending on where we're seated. One feature I particularly love is the memory buttons. They let you set and recall your preferred viewing positions effortlessly, saving time and making adjustments a breeze.However, with kids in the house, I've had to get creative with hiding the remote! They find the motorized movements fascinating, and I’ve caught them a few times trying to “play” with it. That said, this is less an issue with the product and more about my household dynamics. I would recommend keeping the remote out of reach if you have curious little ones around.The wall mount itself is sturdy, smooth, and surprisingly easy to install. It’s perfect for those who have TVs mounted above a fireplace, as it allows for a more ergonomic and comfortable viewing experience. Perfect for my Fire place.
As long as you’re a good handy man this is easy to mount is easy to install. Fits on any fire place. The mount is adjustable and it swivel left to right. It is strong and durable. Perfect for my budget (Labor day sale).

Make sure your stud is not in the center of your fireplace!
Really good mount overall. Moves all the way down in 30secs. A bit longer to move it back up. The remote is great and easy to setup presets on the buttons. Installing is easy if you've ever done any mounts just make sure you have the outlet either to the right of left of the mount a good distance away or else the actual mechanism might crush the plug or if you have a surge protector.Make sure your stud isn't in the center of the fireplace! Wish the actual bar that the tv attaches to was longer. It's quite small because if you have a stud thats in the center of the fireplace this will not work. Your tv will be off-center. For this to work your studs can't be in the center. There are three bolts in the middle of the actual bar as well that stop the tv from moving all the way right or left which is a pain. We had to open up the wall and attach another piece of wood between the studs so that it could be lined up and screwed in properly. It was a pain but now the mount has been up for a week and no issues so far.It doesn't swivel left or right too much. It swivels very slightly so if you're planning on moving it far sideways you might wanna look elsewhere.Value wise I feel this mount is too expensive. It's well made but the price is too high for just up and down movement with a remote. If I had to do it again I'd probably just get a non motorized version. If you have elderly folk then motorized is great.Overall a good product but a bit pricey and installing it can be difficult if your stud placement in the wall isn't correct.Ver másVer menos

I thought this was going to be a lot more work to install, but it was only a little more work than hanging a large painting. Luckily, the studs in the wall aligned perfectly with where the bolts needed to be - if they weren't, there would be a little more work. The kit includes a lot of hardware - including for mounting on brick wall, which I didn't need (not a complaint, just saying for those who need it). The remote works great, though you need to read the manual to understand how the memory buttons work. Its very quiet - can't really hear the motor going when its raising or lowering.We mounted a brand new Sony 65" Bravia 8 and it was a breeze. The mechanism is made of very beefy steel - much heavier than I expected. I'm confident it can support even a larger TV.One thing to expect is that it does stick out quite a bit even when fully retracted - the bottom edge of the tv is 7" from the wall. When lowered, its about 19-20" from the wall. It's also tilted down slightly - but that's fine for us - not sure if there's an adjustment if you don't want the tilt.Ver másVer menos
