Frame was delivered ahead of schedule, easy to put together and very sturdy. The memory settings are super nice. Wasn't a big factor in my purchasing decision but it would be next time. I go from setting to standing to on a walking treadmill multiple times a day. 3 setting for each of those is ideal. Very happy with the price. Felt I overspent a bit on the top ($100 butcher block top form IKEA) but it was solid wood (highly recommend) and altogether $330 which is an amazing price for an electric stand-updesk which I feel is better quality than complete sets I've seen. Happy with the height as I can stand on a pretty thick treadmill and the height is still great. The lowest setting is a tad high for my taste (maybe by an inch or two) but fine and easily remedied with a taller chair. Might be more of an issue if you are shorter. I am 6 foot.Ver másVer menos

So far it's great! A nice option without spending loads!
Bought a "Good" used version of this from VIVO for like $50 less than the new price, and everything turned out great! The only thing missing was a single screw.Due to some back problems, I wanted to get a standing desk to help work from home on. After searching through a couple sites, IKEA, Uplift, etc- I found this VIVO one for pretty cheap and decided to take a crack at it.I used my old Bekant desktop from IKEA, which worked perfectly. All the screws fit well within the thickness of the desktop. Setup was pretty simple, though illustrations on the instructions were a bit of a headache to figure out when pieces look so similar. It probably took me a couple hours, including taking apart my old desk and everything. So really it wasn't that long to make.I think I might wish the power cord for the control pad were a bit longer, but that's my only real complaint. It's nice having the 1-2-3-4 saved heights without spending like $100 or more for the "feature." Overall, I'm just really pleased with it!Ver másVer menos

Good quality, Sturdy, Moving Smoothly
I was happy to see the standing desk price decreased since we started working from home in March. Definitely need it as I feel some back pain over time without the standing desk and the thousand-dollar ergo chair my company provides. I did some research and decided to get this frame and add an IKEA Linnmon desk top. Reasonable price and very sturdy. I was debating if I should get two motors. I only have one laptop, one monitor, one lamp and a coffee mug. I am paperless and don't store things on desk. So I decided on this one motor and cheaper frame. It works perfect. It is moving steadily and fast. I can't feel the difference between this one and the much more expensive one I used in my company. Highly recommend it!Ver másVer menos

Well made and affordable
Great customer service who responded fast to all my questions as I was making my purchase decision.When I purchase items I like to have options and flexibility built in. This frame was perfect for that and affordable. It was important to me to customize the tabletop dimensions - many desks are huge and I needed a smaller desk so I bought this frame. I also didn’t think I’d be standing all the time so I didn’t want to splurge on a standing desk, I just wanted the option to stand. Fits caster wheels (Vivo sells) so these are great options for later.It was easy to put together. The memory presets, speed, height (low and high) all are great! The max height will allow me to put a treadmill under if I ever choose to.Been about a month of use. Love this desk so far. I’ve enjoyed standing. It gives my body a break and reenergizes me instantly. I’ve also had co workers collaborate at my desk/monitor and this so much easier and comfortable when I raise my desk - no hunching over.Ver másVer menos

So far it's a really nice desk
I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and purchased a living edge table top for it. It looks great. The things I like about the vivo are1. The mechanism that raises the table top is very smooth and even2. The table base can be extended to over 6. 5 feet long if the need arises for a bigger desk. That was one of the selling points for me. My daughter doesn't have room for a desk longer than 4 feet right now, but if she should move to a bigger office, she can just get a new top and keep the base.3. It feels pretty heavy duty. The pieces are made of strong metal and will likely last a long time.4. There is a collision detection mechanism that backs off a few millimeters if it senses that the desk has come into contact with something while raising it.5. It has presets so you can save your favorite heights if you use the same heights a lot, or if two different people use the desk. I can't remember if it was 3 or 4 presets, but I think that's a great feature.The things I didn't like as much.1. the extension bar was a little difficult to install when putting the table together and, in fact, I stripped the set screw while trying to install it the first time. (But the Vivo person I talked to was super helpful and sent out a replacement right away) One end is hexagonal (or octagonal, I didn't take time to count the sides) and that end has to go in first. But when you extend the other end (that is the end with the set screw) it doesn't really match up and you kind of have to twist it in place. I tried to twist it, but it didn't seem to work the first time and that is why the set screw got stripped, I was trying to force it into place. But with the new one they sent it was super easy and worked perfectly the first time. Not sure if it was me or the extension rod that was messed up the first time.2. Some of the screws seem pretty short for such a heavy frame. There was one set of screws that I think connected the cross bars to the legs, but I might be misremembering that, that were super short. I was really worried that they would give way too easily. The screws that attached the table top to the base seemed a bit short too, but that is likely because people use table tops of different depths. And for the table top there were several screws. I don't know if I'm just being extra cautious or if those really short screws are a problem or not. The table was lifted into a car, driven around in the car for a day, then lifted out of the car, and turned on it's side to fit through a couple doors and it didn't come apart. (My daughter did say she tightened down all the screws before she started using it.) And so far it's working fine so they might not be a problem. I just would have used longer screws.Hopefully it lasts a good long time. But I'm pretty happy with it now.
