  TSA lock for front compartment of blue comes with - 17" laptop fits easily

  I just received this item and haven't traveled with it yet. I want to clarify 2 things that would have helped me make a better decision. I bought the blue one, the less expensive one. It does NOT have a TSA lock on the front zipper where your laptop and electronics go. Maybe the other versions/colors do since they are more expensive. The blue does not. So now I'm buying a set of TSA locks for that zipper. And a luggage strap, just to be safe.Update: it did come with a separate lock to use on the front compartment so that was nice.Second, I easily fit a 17" laptop in the laptop compartment. That was also almost a deal breaker, since it was unclear if it would fit. The compartment is not huge and won't fit very much. But, it will fit a travel monitor, which is also important to me sometimes. Both of these things are heavy (laptop and monitor) and I prefer not to wear them in a backpack. The power adapter for the laptop won't easily fit in this section, but a few smaller things will. If I find anything goes awry in my trip to India, I'll write more when I return.Update: travels great. Laptop compartment works really well. A thing to note. I did use a larger backpack than normal because the laptop compartment took up a lot of space that I use for clothing. So the backpack now hold more clothing. Lighter weight in the pack. Heavier in the suitcase. This is now my go to carry on system for traveling 2 days to 2 weeks. Possibly longer if I have access to laundry facilities. Great little bag.Ver másVer menos

  Very sturdy and reliable!

  I have lived out of this suitcase everyday for the last 15 months and it has held up SO WELL!!! And still going strong!After 15 months of living out of it, it's only gotten a few scuffs and scratches on the metal corners which seem to be the purpose behind having them, just amazing to me.The zippers have held up very well and have had no problems with them other than in that front pocket, because I stuff the suitcase so full, going around the corners then zipper will sometimes skip over, but I've just learned to hold it tight at the top and it zips smoothly.The handles on the outside have held up really well too, although I wonder if I'm going to break them one day because of how I take it in and out of the car all the time by them, but they too are going strong and are comfortable and in the right places.The wheels are very smooth and convenient too! When I first got it, I had set it down on the front porch (that didn't have a railing at the time) and they rolled so smooth it rolled right off the porch from the little tilt it had! It still rolls just as smoothly and have no problems with the wheels turning or anything.The extendable handle is great too, and can stop at different heights and have had no problems with it at all.The lock on the side of it works great too, very easy to work. The suitcase also comes with an extra lock for the front zipper pouch since those zippers don't have a built in lock.I keep a lot of letter making stuff, my phone charger and a couple books on that front pocket, but unfortunately, that's about all it can take because it shares the same space as the inside of the suitcase.I keep my suitcase extended all the time and has been super flexible with it so it will still close when I don't have my clothes folded nicely in my packing cubes and in my laundry bag instead. I've learned how to maximize the space too with putting my pj's and some workout stuff in the spaces the handle makes, so this suitcase can actually hold a lot!The mesh inside zipper pocket is great, I wish there was another pocket in it though, so I safety-pinned a pouch to the other side which works great and doesn't encroach on the space I need for other things!The side that the extention is on can hold a lot even if it wasn't extended, but I prefer to keep it extended, it just flexes easier and more comfortablely. It's a lot deeper than it seems at first which I love and am glad for.Ver másVer menos

  Annoying that they charge more for black as a color - so I purchased a blue one. I really like this carry-on bag!   Functional and High Quality Luggage!

  This is the first LEVEL8 piece of luggage that I have purchased. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this 20 inch expandable hard sided luggage. It fits in the overhead bin of airplanes easily and is so easy to maneuver through busy airport terminals and on the plane.There are many wonderful features. The suitcase rolls smoothly and in all directions, is lightweight, made of quality materials, has a laptop/tablet side compartment with small pocket storage for cables and other small items, has an organized interior and expandable capacity. I can pack enough for a 3-4 day trip and carry my laptop/tablet, thus eliminating the need for a bulky backpack. There are not very many hard sided luggage that have a side compartment for tech or personal items. Other details that I appreciate are the 2 handles (top and side) that really help when lifting the luggage into the overhead bin on a plane or into a vehicle. Another plus is that the luggage has a built in TSA lock and a lock is included for the side compartment as well! An added bonus!This LEVEL 8 luggage checks all the boxes and is reasonably priced.   LEVEL8 Grace Hard Shell Carry on Luggage with Front Compartment, 20 Inch Expandable Suitca

  This luggage is very durable, handles well, light weight, great price and love the color. It is very easy to maneuver through the airport and fits perfect into overhead bend on the airplane. The front compartment is perfect for carrying electronics.
