Awesome Powerful Gaming Rig
It's been a while since I bought my last gaming rig and I moved from being a PC Gamer to console for a number of years. The Oculus Quest brought me back to PC after I ran out of games and things to do on the Quest and craved some improved graphical power.I took a while studying up on the state of processors and nVidia GPUs and settled on iBuyPower's MR9270. It seemed the right balance of power for price. Amazon delivered my new toy with two days and a friendly delivery guy eyed me as he handed over the package which was not hidden but was securely and well boxed.I had zero problems opening the box and following the set up instructions. iBuyPower had thought through everything and I was up and running in about 20 minutes. As I had bought this PC expressly for VR (although I'll use it for a ton of other things including writing this review) I was a bit dismayed to find there was no USB-C import and had ordered a Link cable from Amazon. Not to worry, after reading up a bit, I found an A to C USB would still work if it was USB 3.0. It took me several slot tries to find the right one but then I was up and running.Oh my gosh this machine has some muscles. An old copy of Total War Warhammer flipped on everything to Ultra without any hint of breathing heavy. I turned the RGB lighting system to show me when the PC gets hot and it wasn't until I was flying around San Francisco on Google Earth VR which is a blast BTW that the machine started flaming red and I heard the fans. Not a problem, but it's this level of processing apparently that will make it pant.Overall, exceptionally happy I bought this PC. So nice to jump into 2020 with a PC that feels like it belongs in the future. The form is beautiful. There's no DVD/CD-RW so I ordered an external I can plug in. Frankly, I just want to see how some of my older PC games look while I explore Oculus Rift titles and the Steam store.I hope this was helpful.Ver másVer menos

Missing some parts, but great seller
I received this computer promptly from Amazon yesterday. However, the box was taped over many times and appeared to have been opened more than once. But I opened it anyway and removed the computer. There was a lot of wiggling as we gently placed it on the table. I took off the cover and discovered the mother board was not attached in any way, at all. The three fans in front that are supposed to light up were not there either. I could not plug it in since the power box for the plug was missing from inside the computer. I hate to say this, but my thought at the time was either the factory did a horrible job of building this, or that someone had ordered it and took out some of the guts then returned it, taping the box up really good. I was in awe at the site of this poor computer. I'm sure it would have been fine had it not been for this unfinished work and/or pilferage. Maybe this was a one off type of thing. But I was amazed at how bad this was inside the computer. I'm sure that motherboard was damaged. I'm hoping they read why I was returning it and will take it off the shelf since it is not anywhere near a "usable" computer especially for gaming! I returned it forthwith and am waiting for my refund. Hope this helps in your buying decision. FYI, I had an iBuyPower computer for over 8 years that just started to die and that's why I chose this one. They are very good computers and are super for gaming. That is if they have all their parts. It is in no way a reflection on the iBuyPower computers. Am currently looking at another, but will head to the computer store near me.Update: I gave this 4 stars simply because the seller was awesome in communication and refunding the entire price. I feel bad for businesses that are out to support the community with good products and possibly have a customer that rips them off. I appreciate the fact that this seller was so nice and ready to make things right. Be kind people, the small businesses are good for all of us.Ver másVer menos

Xbox to PC gaming
So far I have had no issues gaming on this computer as Im more of a casual gamer playing games such as TF2, Half Life, GMOD, Counter Strike: GO and etc..the computer works just fine for me and arrived in great condition, packaged well enough to withstand any complications that the shipping company could have possibly had, thankfully there were none!Easy to put together and pretty much ready to go right out of the box once you set everything up.The only problem I had is the top two fans were not lighting up or displaying its RGB effects like the rear and forward bottom fan were. To fix this, I took the easy to remove panel off the left side of the computer and saw that the plug-ins for the fans lights were not inserted into the power supply for the lights. just simply plugged em in and they lit up like Christmas. Easy Fix!also making the switch from console to PC is much more notably different. Fluid and fun. I still play Xbox but I cant wait to start getting better at pc.Ver másVer menos

Super Happy with my PC
Super happy the pc arrived exactly as the description was published. It passes my expectation of the quality and excellence of the service. I recommend it 100%. The packaging which arrived was of high quality packed with great security. And the pc is completely in glass and I received it in excellent condition with its protective glass and interior. Great computer, HORRIBLE reseller
Where to start. First of all, let me say this is a GREAT computer. And I was very, very VERY eager to use it. But I made a mistake. When I found this product on amazon, I thought I was buying it from IBuyPower. I was not. I was buying it from a reseller.They shipped this almost 2000 computer directly in the box it came in. No additional protection or packging. The box arrived scarred and torn. When I opened it, I noticed, to my horror, that they literally HADN"T INCLUDED THE INTERIOR PROTECTION! meaning the graphics hard had been wiggling and jiggling with every single jolt. The chasis was slightly bent, the graphics card was unseated, and ROM was literally strewn about inside the case.I spent, I kid you not, 4 hours trying to make it work. I could not. Considering we are in a component shortage, this computer had value, because guess what, you can't buy another. All this company had to do was spend maybe 5 dollars to properly seccure this. They did not. I view this as a moral failing. never again.Ver másVer menos

Can't get any better value for the price here
I'm really impressed with this product. The CPU runs really slow and can handle anything I throw at it. Absolutely great for gaming and I'll be using this bad boy for a long time. Easily upgradeable too, for when I do need to update specs.
