Great little drive at a good price
I purchased one of these drives years ago for storing various files and it got tons of use... and then a few months ago, our power went out unexpectedly and the drive files seemed lost. I immediately purchased another because it had worked really well before and I figured it must have been a bad outage. After all, the drive had been through other outages before. While the new drive was on the way, however, I found a free program online that allows you to try and recover files (one folder at a time, unless you have the cash to support the developers and get the plus package - which I didn't). Even though we thought the first drive was lost, I was able to recover all the files with this program and also fix the drive itself without reformatting. So now the new drive is our backup and we're still using the first one.Too long, didn't read? One lasted me for years and was recovered via software when it quit working.If you're looking for a good drive that will last, get one of these.Ver másVer menos
