HG-801D. A true industrial heat gun
Purchased off eBay and delivered May 19th actually, but nonetheless so far this has been a very rugged heat gun to serve me well as an electrician. I built a heat box out of 22ga sheet metal for bending up to 3 inch PVC Conduit and never failed me. Keep in mind that if you order the HG-801D it draws 2220 watts, 18.5A @ 120 volts and requires a NEMA 5-20R on a 20 amp dedicated circuit, or any 20 amp circuit with no other loads connected will suffice. Bending PVC conduit and applying heat shrink sleeves are the main use I have for this beast. There is no temperature adjustment, airflow is stronger than any other heat gun I've used so far in my career. This heat gun is ideal for various household and commercial applications that require direct intense heat and a torch or other open flame heating device would be hazardous. A bit pricey for sure, but the unit is very well built and you get what you pay for. It should serve me well for years if not decades. The heating element is easily replaceable in the unlikely event it burns out.Ver másVer menos
