The tapper is applicable for contouring the tip to the desired dome curvature; slightly breaking up the aerator, the surface will hold more chalk; the scuff side only needs to simply roughen up the surface of the tip, and chalk will adhere to the tip, for better ball control.

This one seems lighter in weight than the one I have from a couple decades ago. I'm not sure if they cut back on materials, but it works just as well as my original. It shapes well, and the tap works well. It is a must have tool for me!

Item arrived very quickly. The item is exactly as described. It is well built. I expect to get many years of service from it. I will check this seller first for any future purchases.

Excellent quality and I use it to break in my cue tips. A must have for any pool player!
