This device works perfectly. I did not find the instructions lacking, just know that you can either configure it as a 12v trigger or ground trigger. Figuring out what your car needs to trigger the locks is on you. The key blanks could use an update, they are missing the slight tip on the end that matches the factory key for mid 2000s Toyota and once in a while the key needs to jiggle to turn the ignition lock.Ver másVer menos

Remote keyless entry, no alarm, but very good product
I install it in a Tayota Corolla 2018 L, the base model of this car do not have this feature for some reason, u probably will need a professional for the installation and u can install the release trunk solenoid yourself, is not too hard. It works at very good distance and very simple yo use. Very nice productVer másVer menos

Fiddly install, but good once you get it going.
I've had this about 6 months and both keys still work. Getting them programmed to the box was a pain, and it would help to have a second set of hands (one to push the button on the unit and one to push the key fobs). I didn't need a lot of the features you can hook to this as I only have two doors and no trunk, so the wiring was pretty easy. If you can wire an outlet you can probably install this, but look for a wiring guide for your car because the instructions that come with this are more or less useless.Ver másVer menos

at around $25, it's hard to fault the unit.things to note:*this is not a security system, just keyless entry*parking light (positive output) flash is a little glitchy sometimes*the 2 diodes on parking light output can be removed unless output separation is needed*trunk can be opened from all 4 buttons by holding them longer. I only want the trunk button to open the trunk.*panic button doesn't do anything but open the trunk haha*ignition lock/unlock can't be turned off or changed to just lock. It will lock after ignition on andfoot on brake*wires are thin, onboard relays are small. I would use external relays if powering door lock actuators.if vehicle already has relays and a positive or negative trigger, you'll be fine with the onboard relays.i used onboard relay for trunk release actuator. hope it holds up. positive output is longer than i prefer*I glued original Toyota key to ignition cylinder to override factory transponder so I could get the new key cut for my 2010 corolla. Lowes cut the keys no problem and they work fine.*there are no programming features on this unit other than adding new remotes*range is quite good on remotes*remotes were pre-programmed to unit*i didn't bother installing the led light, just left it bundled and plugged into unit*if you already have factory Toyota keyless, just pay for a new Toyota remote key. Terrible "Learn" button placement
The specific wiring for me car was not provided so good luck out there. Also, the "Learn" button is inside the housing pointing up not out. I broke the case trying to press it with a small screwdriver. On the plus side, the key did seem to fit in the Tundra (2002) ignition, so they might work as spares.Ver másVer menos

Surprisingly good
If your Toyota didn't come with the remote option installed (or enabled - google "RS3200"), this is a very affordable alternative, plus you get two extra keys. The supplied instructions a very rudimentary but sufficient if you understand the basics of car wiring.Time will tell re reliability.Ver másVer menos
