Very good projector for the price, quality, and portability
UPDATE: Very good customer service! Seller reached out to ensure customer satisfaction and sent a replacement. The new unit comes with USB-C port. However, do note that it only takes USB-A to USB-C charging, not USB-C to USB-C charging. HDMI cable is still required to project from laptop.Image is good. Sharpness is good for the price. Color is popping! Sound is just a tiny bit out of synch over HDMI, but that's quite normal for most projectors. I bought this because the ad states it’s updated to USB-C charging, but my unit *was not (see updated note above)Ver másVer menos

Portable and useful for art
Great little product. I am an artist and I use this projector to enlarge my sketches for murals and large pieces which saves me a ton of time and extra work. Has a long battery life and it also doubles as a portable charger which is awesome. Have used it to watch youtube videos and other video edits I have made. Easy to set up and use, it does need wifi for wireless with your phone but I just use the cell phone cable for a more reliable experience. It has a built in speaker but I would recommend using it with a bluetooth speaker for maximum quality. The only gripe I have is when the projector is pointed straight up to project on the ceiling it has an automatic angle adjustment so it has trouble projecting on a surface while pointing straight up, but honestly its not a deal breaker. hell if I am that lazy to not sit up in bed while trying to watch videos projected from my phone, I should just go to sleep. Connects easily. Works well. Does not last very long.
Was expecting better battery life for the cost. I’ve had to decorate cookies with it plugged it which negates the wireless capability. The picture quality is excellent.

Excellent quality Image and so portable
We bought this projector in lieu of a TV for our Cottage. We are able to make our parking area into a movie theater for our family and friends - Those images are of the Akaso projector showing a movie on the Wall of the building. The quality is great. One draw back for us - it seems to be more geared for an android type device. We have to use all the cables, HDMI and power to the source as we aren't great planners for power. But once we figured out how to get the picture to hook up - and blue tooth speaker to hook up - it's been smooth sailing! We play Netflix and Disney Plus movies - but we have also used for mirroring our device for photos and such - It's excellent. There are not great instructions for people with limited knowledge. I had to get a tech saavy person to help me. But overall - I am very pleased with this projector - its unbelievable! It's the size of an apple iPhone. - tiny!!! Definitely NEEDS a tripod that's sturdy. This gets a bit unstable with cables plugged in for the tripod it came with.Ver másVer menos

Horrible remote control, pairing, and instructions
I've spent well over an hour trying to get the projector to recognize my wifi and pair to my phone (I tried all methods), and it's been a frustrating waste of my time. Time I won't get back. The remote control is INSANELY unresponsive with it's lag time (nowadays who has to deal with remote lag time??) And the instructions are borderline foolish. Case in point, if you own an iPhone it tells you to go to "Management" in settings to pair. THERE IS NO TAB IN AN iPHONE THAT IS "MANAGEMENT!" Seriously? I am very tech savvy and my home has a powerful mesh network. THERE IS NO REASON WHY IT SHOULD BE SO DIFFICULT TO GET THIS PROJECTOR TO WORK!UPDATE: Because of the issues that I had with the first one, I purchased a second. I really wanted to make this work. Sadly, the problems were exactly the same. I spent yet another hour+ on Apple's website and other forums to try to get this unit to pair to my phone. I have a high-quality mesh network and an iPhone 14 with the latest software. Still no success. So I tried the micro SD and USB options. As per the pathetic instructions, I used a micro card no greater than 32GB, and a USB 2.0 thumbdrive. All I wanted to do was to project simple photo album pictures, nothing complicated, just basic jpgs. Although I was able to get the AKASO projector to recognize my drives, more often than not, the unit froze up for no reason and had to be rebooted. This happened almost EVERY TIME I tried to get the unit to do basic operations. To add further insult, I found the remote control to be basically useless (on both units). I used new, fresh batteries but the remotes would "hang up." It takes several seconds, sometimes 20-30 or more, for the AKASO projector to recognize the command from the remote. Seriously? 20-30 seconds to perform the command? In 2024? And then when it does, it freezes up. Every time. For some, that might be OK, IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR BUTTON PRESS WILL DO. But because this company does not provide instructions, you have no idea what the icons on the remote are for. So you press a button and wait....and wait...and then press another button, not knowing what will happen....and then it freezes on you and you have to reboot. Couple this with the fact the you get ZERO customer support, I am done with AKASO. I can forgive problems with one unit, but not two. That's too much of a coincidence. That's a company systemic problem. I will ask for a refund and and try another, similar product on Amazon. I am confident that there are better products out there with better Customer Support.
