The best concealer out there.
I had almost given up on concealer before I found this. I don't know why but I just have a terrible time with concealers, no matter what application strategy, no matter what kind of concealer. Maybe my skin just rejects thicker pigmented products. I'm in my 30s, so I'm contesting with some fine lines and some dry skin patches for sure, but even when my skin was at max hydration with no dry patches it seemed like every concealer I tried would just dry out on my skin immediately and be impossible to blend out, becoming flaky and grainy. My most recently tried concealer was the Nars radiant creamy one. There was nothing radiant or creamy about it for me, it went on like chalk. This Maybelline concealer however is SO creamy, nice and moist, and taps on so smoothly with a finger or brush or sponge. It looks like a second skin. There's definitely some creasage but with proper application technique it can be minimal. I've kind of just come to accept creasage as a part of my life the older I get and keep the heavy creams away from higher crease areas lol. However I don't feel like this concealer makes me look older, so that's a plus. Normally my foundation shade is the lightest in any product, but for concealer I picked the 2nd lightest shade, ivory, which has just a little peachiness to it too and seems to be good at counteracting blue-grayness under the eyes and the redness around my nose without making me look like a ghost. Glad to have finally found a product that works, & happy that it turns out it works better than any 8x priced crap Sephora would try to peddle to me while talking down at drugstore products. This stuff is the GOAT. You cannot tell me otherwise. I hope they never change it.Ver másVer menos
