Works exactly as intended. Very clean look. Easy to lay out and trim to desired fit. 1/2 inch fits 3-5 small cables or 2-3 larger cables (like powerstrip power cables).

  Perfect!

This is the best thing I've invested!! It was so easy to install and i wasnt to sure if it would be the right size but it was! I have a lot of wires under my desk due to have 3 monitors, mic, mouse, keyboard, speakers... it got really crazy and ugly FAST I did use scissors to cut however much I needed and used a lighter that I promptly burnt myself on 🙄 to stop the fraying. (Please dont burn yourself but also please melt the frays so it dosnt fall apart) when melting i didnt notice any fumes just a little smoke. This will protect my wires from getting caught in my legs kees or chair. Its also pretty thick and itll work for anything I have a bunch extra and paired this velcro ties just to keep it against my table. (It dosnt come with velcro but I do suggest you get some if you have kids.) Before and after photo are provided ☺️Ver másVer menos

Professional Wire Management for High-Vibration Environments

When you are running a complex harness through a vehicle like a Police Interceptor, protecting your cables from abrasion and heat is just as important as the electrical connections themselves. I used this Alex Tech Split Sleeving to organize and protect the runs for my siren, lightbar, and external camera system, and it provides a much cleaner, more professional finish than traditional plastic split-loom.Superior Flexibility and ProtectionUnlike the rigid, corrugated plastic tubing that often cracks over time, this braided material is incredibly flexible. It makes navigating tight corners in the dash or through the firewall much easier. The 3/4-inch diameter is the perfect "sweet spot"—it’s large enough to hold multiple 10-12 AWG power leads and smaller signal wires, but it still maintains a slim profile that doesn't bulk up the harness. The "Split" AdvantageThe self-wrapping split design is a massive time-saver. You can easily add or remove wires from an existing run without having to disconnect everything and fish it through a tube. It maintains a strong overlap, so once the wires are inside, they stay tucked away even in high-vibration areas.Durability and Clean AestheticsHeat and Abrasion: The material is rugged enough to handle the friction of being tucked behind interior panels and the ambient heat of the cabin.Professional Look: It gives the entire upfit a "factory" appearance. Instead of a mess of colored wires, everything is contained in a sleek, black braided sleeve that blends into the vehicle’s interior and chassis.Ease of Use: A quick tip for a professional finish—use a hot knife or a lighter to sear the ends after cutting to prevent any fraying.Final ThoughtsIf you are doing professional vehicle upfitting, home theater cable management, or building out a server rack, this is an essential item. It’s a durable, high-quality solution that protects your investment and makes your technical work look top-tier. Highly recommended for anyone who takes their wiring seriously.Ver másVer menos

  So far, so good

I bought this because my 10 week old puppy chewed through my phone charger. I read many good reviews, so chose this. Reasonably easy to work with. Cut the length you need. What surprised me, though, is the fact that each cord needed their own. It was barely wide enough for one cord. Beware if you want to put multiple cords together, you’ll need thicker.Ver másVer menos

Clean, organized look for desk cords—easy to customize and expand

This cord protector made a big difference in cleaning up the look of my desk. It’s simple to use, customizable, and much more visually appealing than typical options. What I used it for:Organizing and bundling multiple cords at my desk at work.Pros:Easy to cut to the exact length you needWhite color blends in nicely (better than standard black)Keeps cords neatly bundled togetherSplit seam design makes it easy to add or remove cordsCons:Ends can fray slightly if scissors aren’t sharp (mostly cosmetic). More user error than product error.Real experience:I used this to group all the cords behind my monitor and desk, and it instantly made everything look cleaner and more organized. The split seam is especially helpful since I can easily add more cords without redoing everything.Comparison:Better than basic cord clips or ties since it fully conceals and bundles cords, and more flexible than solid cable covers.Final verdict:If you want a simple way to organize cords and improve the look of your workspace, this is an easy and effective solution.Ver másVer menos

Perfect Solution for Office Cord Chaos and Determined Pets

The Alex Tech 1/4-inch Cord Protector is an absolute lifesaver for cleaning up desk clutter and protecting sensitive wires. This split-sleeving loom effortlessly bundles messy office cords into a single, sleek black tube while providing a tough, durable barrier against curious pets.Design & Ease of UseSelf-Wrapping Split Design: The lateral split allows the sleeve to open up easily, let you pop the cords in, and immediately snap back into a tight cylinder. You do not need to disconnect any cables or struggle to thread long wires through an enclosed tube.Perfect 1/4-Inch Size: This diameter is ideal for bundling individual thick power cables, or grouping a few thinner cords together like a mouse, keyboard, and USB-C charging cable.Pet Protection & DurabilityCat Proofing: The tightly woven, heavy-duty polymer mesh is highly effective against pets. It creates a slippery, tough exterior that deters cats and dogs from chewing, completely protecting the fragile copper wiring inside.Wear Resistance: The material is highly abrasion-resistant. It is a simple, affordable, and incredibly durable upgrade to any workstation. Highly recommended!
