Great for Cancer Patients
My MIL is currently battling cancer, and as her treatment has progressed, she’s become extremely sensitive to fragrances and harsh soaps. I decided to try this product on a whim, hoping it might be gentle enough for her skin and it has been an absolute blessing.It doesn’t trigger nausea from strong scents, and it leaves her skin feeling clean, comfortable, and soft. She uses it all over her body and consistently tells me that it doesn’t leave her feeling dry or irritated. Before finding this, she would use whatever body wash happened to be in the shower, along with a ZOTE bar, but neither provided the comfort she needed.Now that chemotherapy is taking a greater toll on her body, having a product that makes her feel good and helps her maintain some comfort has truly been a gift. If you need a body wash for your lady parts, this is the answer!!
I bought this body wash solely to use on my lady parts (outside, never use it internally!). You technically do not need to use product or body wash on your exterior lady parts but I personally need to just to feel clean and to help a little, especially in the summer with sweat.This has not caused me any irritation, UTIs, or yeast infections since using it for six months. It's the first body wash I have found to not lead to any of those on my lady parts, so I am thrilled!It has a simple gel-like body wash texture, no fragrance I have noticed and doesn't feel heavy or oil based. I use one squirt for the front and back in the shower daily and only now need my second bottle (five to six months later). I am not upset with the price for the amount of use I get out of this body wash.I sometimes use this on other areas of my body and feel like it does a fine job at getting them clean. I am hive prone to heavy fragrances, chemicals and products but this has never given me hives.Ver másVer menos

Great for Sensitive, Dry Skin Without Added Fragrance
I bought this because I have been switching to cleaner products with fewer unnecessary ingredients, and my skin can become dry and irritated with fragranced body washes.After using this body wash for several weeks, I have been really happy with it. It has a more liquid consistency compared to other body washes I have used, but it’s still able to stay on a loofah or washcloth without dripping off right away. It is easy to spread over my skin. I have used it with a loofah, a washcloth, and even just my hands, and it works well with all three. I only need about a quarter-sized amount with a loofah or washcloth to get a lather going, while using a little more when applying it with my hands.It rinses away easily without leaving behind a residue. I have filtered water at my house, and it rinses great. My skin feels comfortable after showering instead of feeling like I need to immediately apply lotion to relieve dryness. I feel clean and fresh getting out of the shower. Even with daily use, it has not left behind any buildup, and my skin continues to feel comfortable after each shower. I have also used it after shaving, and it has been gentle without causing irritation or stinging.I have been using it daily for several weeks and still have plenty left in the bottle, so a single bottle should last at least two months with regular use. If you enjoy heavily scented body washes or want a luxurious spa-like experience, this may feel a bit bland. However, if your priority is a gentle cleanser that focuses on your skin rather than fragrance, this is an excellent choice.It is simple, effective, and does exactly what it claims to do. The best!
Highly recommend this creamy pearly goodness. The only soap that doesn’t make my husband itch. Foams up nicely. Leaves a squeaky clean glow on the skin. Washes off stubborn sunblock. I wish it came in a bigger size. Both my husband and I use this Vanicream Gentle Body Wash, and the Vanicream Moisturizer Cream in the tub size. Gives a nice hydrated feel without being greasy. It’s definitely unscented, so I use it on my face as well. When I want to smell good, I use body spray and perfumes. Give it a try. You might love it too. :)*Advice*My husband had very sensitive skin. During this journey, I bought and installed a ShowerStick by Watersticks in our shower. Along with the KDF filter they sell on Watersticks website. It’s a device that hooks up to any shower. Takes regular table salt. This along with Vanicream has been so helpful. Ok, if you have hard city water, you’ll know that after a shower, often you’ll see little skin particles peeling up on your skin when you’re drying off. Not after using soft water!!! Hair and skin clean as a whistle. I just wanted to share what works for us. A shower filter isn’t the same as a water softener. KDF filter removes chlorine, and the ShowerStick removes heavy metals. Without having to pay thousands to install a whole house water softener. Great for renters. Something to look into. Especially if you have a newborn or suffer with itchy skin.Ver másVer menos

Gentle and Safe, but Nothing Special
I bought this body wash because I wanted something with a safe formula. It works fine and doesn’t irritate my skin, which is good. The scent is very mild and it doesn’t really foam a lot. I didn’t notice any extra benefits, like making my skin more soft or hydrated. It’s okay, but I’m not sure I would buy it again.Ver másVer menos

Several reviewers have said this is the same as the gentle facial cleanser, but the ingredients are not exactly the same--similar, but several differences. Since I am not a dermatologist or scientist or chemist, I assume there are reasons for the differences and so I use them as suggested by Vanicream. THEY ARE ALL AMAZING! Gently cleans without known or suspected carcinogens, vegan, and leaves your skin clean and soft with residue, dryness, or greasiness. They don't test their finished products on animals and use synthetic or vegetable-derived ingredients, but their policy allows for animal testing ONLY IF REQUIRED by regulatory bodies like the FDA. It is a mild, non-irritating cleanser crafted specifically for sensitive or easily irritated skin.
