Best value in this price range, hands down
These are such a good value for the price. There's a good stay of colors, though I wish there were some more lighter blue and purple shades, and some darker greens and browns. And there are too many yellows, most of which look pretty similar to one another. Overall, though, it's an excellent variety for the price. In this price range, I'd say these are the sturdiest colored pencils, most resistant to breakage, and I never encounter pencils with broken lead inside , leaving to that present colored pencil experience where you sharpen the pencil and the tip falls out, you sharpen again, the tip falls out again, etc, etc. I'd say I have that problem with at least some of the colors in every other non professional grade set I've tried (and I've tried a lot). That basically never happens with Crayolas. The color is definitely not as rich and dense as something like a prismacolor, but that's to be expected at this price range, and the colors are overall even and easy to lay down, with the exception of just a couple of the lightest colors, which are a bit waxy. Color goes down smooth, they blend pretty well, and could be good for both kids and student artists, or just for adult coloring. Not erasable.Ver másVer menos

You can't go wrong with Crayola! These colored pencils have vibrant colors, sharpen easily, and hold up well to everyday use. School supplies!
These colored pencils were perfect for back-to-school supplies! The colors are vibrant, they sharpen easily, and they color smoothly without breaking. Great quality for the price, and I’d definitely buy them again.

Good colors, sturdy leads compared to some brands, average ease of sharpening.
Good colors, pretty sturdy leads. Blend mainly by coloring in layers, but you can smear them some. The leads are harder than some 'pro' brands, but you can still get pretty strong colors with a big of force and coloring to get several layers. My 9 year old loves them, uses them all the time with some pretty intense pressure. Like all pencils, you need a GOOD sharpener and you need to learn a bit of technique to get nice straight points - but a little practice and kids can do - if the sharpener is decent.
