Awesome generator! has cleaner power than the grid!
works really good! i got this specifically cause of its clean power, quietness, and and reliability. so i can go work down at the shed and use it with shop vac for gold panning in the creek. this inverter generator has cleaner power than the grid so it can be used with sensitive electronics including computers and cpap machines.so with that i fully recommend this generator! just make sure you break it in before using it and switch to synthetic at the 20 hour mark to make it last longer.Ver másVer menos

Excellent home generator solution
I am using this for powering select appliances at home during power outage.Pros: manageable weight for one person to carry; remarkably low noise; starts very easily - almost always in first couple of pulls; eco mode is very useful; two 120V outlets are very useful compared to if there was just one; easy access to the maintenance panel including the oil change place; the app is very useful for remote observation of the generator and remote off.Cons: pouring oil in an inclined opening is a little awkward; wish it had an electric starter motor.Ver másVer menos

This Honda EU2200i is a GREAT value for the money!
This Honda generator provides the perfect match of backup power for our mountain home. The greatest attributes are listed below: 1. Honda dependability2. Quiet operation3. portable4. Sized right for keeping the basics running. i.e. Refrigerator, internet router, needed lighting, chargingour cell phones and laptop.I highly recommend this unit as a necessary backup for anyone's home. For the recoil starting method, it is very easy to get running. Also, remember to keep ethanol free gasoline in the tank for your next generating need. VP racing fuel for 4 cycle engines is an appropriate fuel choice, especially here in California, due to the ethanol and other additives that come through our gas station pumps and can damage the carburetor.Ver másVer menos

Excellent small generator!
Starts within two or three poles every time... Super quiet quiet, especially in eco mode.We use it for tailgating at college football games to power the TV, speaker and our Florida Gator blow up.

I love the quiet engine and the fuel efficiency.
I oscillated for quite a while before making this purchase. After all, I had a working 2500 watt generator with a Honda engine that worked just fine all summer long . I was off grid in my travel trailer from May 2 to the end of October. This one wasn't cheap. But I bit the bullet and bought it.The first thing that impressed me was how quiet it was while running. I can hardly hear it when I'm inside my travel trailer. Vs. the other one where I have to turn the TV almost to full volume so I can hear it.The second thing I like is the ability to put it in eco mode where the engine throttles back and the inverter continues producing 120VAC. There's no need for the engine to run full speed if I'm only drawing 200 watts. Instead of refilling my old generator every two or three hours, I can go for 8 hours.The third thing I really like is the iPhone app. I normally watch a movie at night before crawling into bed. But I would always have to get up, shut down the generator, walk back with my head lamp... Now I can crawl into bed, pull out my phone and shut it down remotely. An internet connection is not required, just wireless between the phone and the generator / inverter.The only suggestion for improvement to this generator is to add a wake up function: I set the time I want to get up, it powers up before that, starts the coffee pot and wakes me up when it's done... (not holding my breath on this one!).I'm very happy with this purchase. It's worth the money to me.Ver másVer menos
