  Very good value for the price you pay

  I have been purchasing vinyl lps since the sixties and I still have all of them because I take care of my stuff. Vinyl lps are expensive and really an investment in the sense that you own the music on them. I have purchased several brands of inner and outer sleeves along the way. I like that the 3mil thickness is just about the best compromise for outer sleeves. The clarity (see my pictures) is very good, and shows off the album art without any coloration or opaqueness. So far, in my batch of 100, I have had no rips nor tearing but handling the sleeves takes some patience and care on my part. I just placed a three album set inside the outer sleeve, though it was difficult, I was able to do so without a big problem, and it is not too tight. I think I recommend BIG FUDGE to anyone who cares about their vinyl.i will purchase more as my collection expands.Ver másVer menos

  Perfect sleeves for collectors who hate cramming gatefolds

  I’ve gone through a bunch of different outer sleeves over the years, and these Big Fudge ones are honestly some of the best I’ve found, especially for the price. They’re crystal clear, feel thick and sturdy without being stiff, and most importantly, they actually fit my gatefolds and double LPs without me having to wrestle them in.They slide on easily, don’t wrinkle or crinkle like the cheap flimsy ones, and they make my whole collection look super clean and uniform on the shelf. I’ve used up about half the pack already and every sleeve has been consistent, so no weird seams, no static cling, no surprises.The size is slightly oversized, which I know some people might not love, but I find it way easier to handle than sleeves that are too tight. I’d rather have a little wiggle room than risk damaging a jacket. For conventional sized records, they work just fine functionality wise. Storage capacity is good. I have some small boxed sets that can snugly fit, too.If you’re looking to protect your records without spending a fortune, these are a solid choice. I’ll be buying more for sure.Ver másVer menos

  Together, the Big Fudge Vinyl Record Sleeves and Big Fudge Premium Inner Vinyl Record Sleeves have been an excellent upgrade for protecting my record collection.The outer sleeves are very clear and high quality, doing a great job of showing off album artwork without looking cloudy or cheap. They feel durable, don’t stick to jackets, and are sized generously enough to handle gatefold albums without forcing anything. I store my records by inserting them from the top, which helps prevent the vinyl from accidentally slipping out of the jacket and keeps the outer sleeve from sliding off when pulling records in and out of my storage rack.The inner sleeves complement them perfectly. Records slide in and out easily, static is noticeably reduced, and the material feels smooth and protective. I like that they can either be placed inside the original paper inner sleeve to preserve artwork and notes, or used on their own if the original inner is worn or rough. They’ve done a great job keeping records clean and preventing scuffs or scratches.Used together, these sleeves strike a great balance between protection, presentation, and ease of use.   Wonderful quality. Very sturdy! Perfect for my vinyl collection protection! Especially for vintage ones. They fit good even gatefold ones. Don’t hesitate to purchase, will buy again.

  Love love love these. I got the standard 12 inch sleeves for my other vinyl and saw that big fudge had a gatefold version and had to buy it. Great quality, easy to use, high visibility for the album covers, and great protection. I feel so much better about collecting vinyl now that I have protection for them! I appreciate that I never have to take the full vinyl cover out, the vinyl disk just slides out the slits. Perfect fit for all 20 of my gatefold vinyl. Love these!Ver másVer menos

  Nice, clear, sturdy and snug sleeves

  Nice sleeves!The have nice clarity. Not crystal clear compared to Sleeve CIty Ultimate Outer 2.5 which I normally use, but due to shortages I got these because my stacks are piling up. They are better than most used record shops utilize and I will be using them to replace ill-fitting or cloudy sleeves.They slightly reduce brightness of the album art about 1-3% but give a nice finished clean appearance.They are a more of a satin finish - and don't look cloudy at all (yet).They have roller streaks from production which is notable, however they are mostly masked by the artwork, and they appear to flatten out once loaded with a record.They are SNUG - This is nice in comparison to other larger sleeves so that it doesn't wrinkle or slip around.Snug fit is something I like especially for older sleeves that have seen some damage, helps flatten out those corner creases and any top or bottom splits.They will fit most typical gatefold of normal weight (not a Blue Note Tone Poet Stoughton gatefold or any audiophile releases similar)For quick and frequently played records I use them top loaded, sleeve in front, mo-fi , Invest in Viny or comparable VRP rice paper sleeve in back with the record.I like the size and only overhangs 1/8 to 14" at the top so they don't get warped and stretched if you store and browse your collection front facing record bin style.For shelf storage they show a bit of a rough edge where they are welded together (like most sleeves they obscure the printing on the spine) - I'll to mention that you could get a paper cut type slice if you are careless or have less calloused hands- i don't see this as a huge drawback but if you're sensitive to those type of sensations I would avoid. Would hope this is something that could be quality controlled better.I will be re-ordering more!Ver másVer menos
