Wow! Fantastic detail trimmer!
Bought this to do detail trimming around beard. Also to use for "personal" trimming.I was surprised how close this thing can shave! Much better than I expected!I can quickly trim around my beard, cleaning up the ragged edges. Good enough to get by without putting a razor to it to finish off and look good. If I am going formal I would use the razor to finish it perfect, but most of the time I don't need it!I tried the stubble guides & they work fantastic! Wish I had found this in spring, when I was thinning my beard down. It works super fast and accurate, can't wait till spring comes again, cause getting the stubble look will be so easy compared to my old trimmer!The battery seems to last forever on a charge! Maybe because it is so easy & fast to use. I charge it so seldom, I have to hunt for the charger.The replacement blades seem pricey, but mine last much longer than regular blades, so I think I am probably spending less on them. I don't care though, this thing is so nice!Now, the other reason I got this was to try it as a "personal" trimmer. You know, to get the crotch hair under control!Literally every scissors, trimmer or razor I have tried to use to trim my crotch area, no matter how slowly & carefully I worked, I have ended up cut, nipped, and bleeding, sometimes in multiple areas. I had pretty much given up on taming it.I saw that some guys said this works great. I decided that at the least, another beard trimmer wouldn't hurt, as I don't really like mine all that much. And if it works as a personal trimmer too, great!WOW!Cautiously, I tried it, and it trimmed around there with NO nips, cuts, or scrapes!!! If I were reckless I might be able to hurt myself, but there weren't any problems while being moderately careful! I was even able to trim on my rod, which is as scary as it gets! And I was surprised how close it would trim!FINALLY!A personal trimmer that ONLY trims the hair!If you are looking for a trimmer for the stubble look, this is great for that.If you are looking for a personal trimmer that isn't out to maul you, GET THIS ONE!Ver másVer menos

This thing is absolutely incredible, and just gets better with time once you start to get new types of razor attachments. I have used this device, and I mean one singular unit of the Oneblade, for 4 years now. The only problem I've started to run into is battery, it lasts long enough for me to shave, but I have to make sure its charged before I want to use it, it likes to die on standby. Its not the closest shave ever, but more than enough for my usage. The blades aren't traditional razors, they have this diamond pattern on the actual razor bit which is what cuts the hair. Its also fairly cheap and comes with quite a few attachments for closeness of shave and whatever else. Leaves my skin as smooth as any other razor as well, or atleast I can't notice any roughness.Ver másVer menos

Say goodbye to razor bumps…
If you’re someone who suffers from razor bumps this shaver is the one you’re looking for. I have a Braun 7 series and it works pretty well for limiting skin irritation and my razor bumps but the blade replacement way too fast due to my coarse facial hair. Not to mention the hefty price tag for the unit, replacing blades and even cleaning solution for the base.This OneBlade is a way better shave than my Braun and it’s overall cost of ownership is far less. Hands down the best shave system I’ve ever used to consistently shave and not have ANY shave irritation or razor bumps. The best my skin has ever looked!My routine is I use a little ‘Shave Secret’ oil after I’ve hit my face with a hot wash rag for a few mins to open my pores. Once the shave secret is on I lather a basic gel shaving cream and follow the directions the shaver gives you for best operation/shave technique. If I really need a close shave I’ll follow that up by using my safety razor (new blade of course) and some additional shave cream applied with my silver tipped badger brush, then rinse my face with cold water afterwards to close my pores and limit any irritation.The battery lasts longer than I need it and it recharges quick. You can use it in the shower since it’s waterproof and the ability to shave sensitive areas on your body is unmatched with the different body guards (make sure you use different blades for body and face).As an African American male I just wanted to get this post out there to help anyone else who has struggled with finding a good shave system. Hands down fastest, most consistent and best shave I’ve found. So far I still can’t believe the price point. Add this to your quiver of shave options…you will not be disappointed.Ver másVer menos

Okay at Many Things, Not Great at Any One Thing
The OneBlade does a lot of things decently well, but nothing very well. Very much like a Swiss Army knife. Good stuff: wet/dry action, rechargeable with good battery life. Flexible enough to be used on body and face. Good attachments for both areas. Disposable blades are both a blessing and curse - expensive but I don’t have to disassemble, clean, oil and reassemble like with my detail clippers. Using the blade directly against the face, I can get a shave equivalent to one day of growth with a traditional wet razor but do so very quickly and without lathering up.The OneBlade is good at trimming hair that is already relatively short. I used it the first time on body hair that hadn’t been trimmed in a couple months and the longer hairs got caught in the blade assembly and were difficult to clean out. The OneBlade also didn’t cut the longer hairs very well. Use detail clippers to get it short enough to use the OneBlade. Contrary to its name, don’t expect the OneBlade to actually be the only hair trimming device you own unless you plan to use it very regularly.Using the OneBlade side of blade to trim hair above the ear and at sideburns was just ok. Not as accurate or complete as using detail clippers - had to go over areas a couple more times than usual. But it did work.The closeness of the shave is another blessing/curse situation. Do not expect the OneBlade to get anywhere near even a traditional electric shaver in closeness. It will give you that one day growth look provided you are careful to keep the blade foil against the skin and go against the grain. The blade being small, that can be difficult. Also the edges of the blade can scrape skin if you move the blade head too fast. There is a guard attachment, but it prevents getting in hard to reach spots. The lack of closeness can be a blessing for those of us that get razor bumps or ingrown hairs using a traditional electric. I’ve never been able to use an electric shaver on my neck until now.I can’t speak to how this works for guys who maintain a beard. The OneBlade is clearly marketed to guys with beards and there are lots of attachments for trimming to specific beard lengths. I’d probably feel differently about it if I had a beard and I can see the great appeal for guys who have one.I’m back to using a wet blade for face and detail electric clippers for nearly everything else. If I get more disciplined about trimming body hair more regularly, I’d probably reach for the OneBlade first. Only other time I could see myself using the OneBlade regularly is if I wanted that one day growth look on a regular basis or was traveling on vacation.

Best trimmer EVER for your bits - No Cuts, No Bumps!
I’m a guy with a good bit of body hair, and rather than run around looking like I have Bin Laden in a scissor lock, I like to keep everything down there clean, from my waist to my knees. Have since I was 16 or 17 years old (almost 20 years now).I have, from time to time, used a blade - but it gets expensive and I get TERRIBLE razor burn. That said, I have tried every trimmer under the sun, from regular hair clippers, to beard trimmers, to other trimmers that claim to be for sensitive skin.The OneBlade is the first I have found that doesn’t pinch or draw blood, and it also (with no guards) gives a super close shave with no irritation whatsoever.Please bear in mind, ladies and gentlemen- this is NOT a replacement for a blade. The shave I get produces a sort of “invisible stubble.” All the way down to the skin, but leaves just enough to keep razor burn and all ingrown hairs to a virtually nonexistent level. You can still feel the stubble - it is not baby smooth, but it isn’t severe tire damage either.This is exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn’t be happier!I‘ve had my OneBlade for about a year now - the battery is still in great shape. It lasts long enough for me to do the “hairless shorts,” more than twice on one charge - that’s actually a considerable amount of time. I’ve never tried more than that because I like to keep it charged.I don’t use the combs/guards, so I can’t attest to their durability. That’s simply not what I bought it for. The package I bought came with two blade heads. I am just now buying another 3 pack (hence this review), and although they are a little pricier, I am satisfied with their longevity. And for the record, they didn’t break - they’re just old and quite frankly, they’ve pretty much been to ‘Nam and back.So, if you’re a guy or a girl who wants a painless way to regularly tame the uncharted wilds of the south - BUY IT! This Trimmer/azor is Phenomenal
By far the best trimmer I've ever owned. From trimming my beard to just above stubble to places a bit more private, it works exceptionally well and far, far better than I expected. I have pretty thick hair on my face. Being half Portuguese, it is thick and prickly as a son of a gun, so it has to be even. Slap the guard on and it works better than my $150 hair clippers.As for use as a razor? It works _"OK."_ I've never used it in the shower, just dry shaves and there has been no irritation, but the shave isn't exactly anywhere close to razor smooth. If you don't have thick hair (ei Asian, Irish, English, Nord or Slavic descent) then you shouldn't have issues. By the way, by thick I mean the actual strands of hair, not how densely packed the follicles are.As a body trimmer, again, it works astonishingly well. Toss the guard on of your choice and within minutes you're done. A+ from me. Oops, and I almost forgot the battery life. I charged it once and have used it once on my body and about 10 times on my face and beard. Maybe 2 hours of total use so far and it still has over half a charge while the blade has not dulled in the slightest. It also makes a quick once over on my cheeks and under my bottom lip along with my neck very easy to finish off with my Mach 3. I typically only use my regular razor when going to functions as the electric razor is more than adequate to head out to my son's football games or a laid back family picnic. 100% worth the money and would absolutely buy again, though hopefully I'll only need to replace blades over the next 5 years or so. Great purchasing decision as you're going to get a lot more than any other razor/trimmer that I've seen at these price points.Ver másVer menos
