Quiet, Cool Upgrade for my Fractal Design Meshify C
To summarize my points before going into details:Pros:+ Aesthetically pleasing for my build, white matches the RGB lighting on motherboard and front fans and LED strip+ much quieter tone compared to stock Fractal Design case fan+ variety of color options for rubber mounts+ Strong airflow out of case now+ PWM fan compared to old Fractal Design DC 3-pin fanCons:- High price for fans- short cables- Sort of difficult to mount with screwsFor more in depth review:I love these fans. I'm officially a "fan" of Noctua fans (HA bet you didn't expect the puns in this review). From my testing, I paired this with another Noctua fan that I replaced on my Cryorig H7 CPU Cooler. I noticed a 3-5 Celsius drop on the CPU. I attribute that to this fan working well with the CPU fan that was also replaced with a Noctua fan. One pushes hard on the cooler tower and this fan gets large amounts of air flowing out of the case. The fan hardly makes any noise compared to the old Fractal Design case fan. It is a much lower tone. I also love that this is a PWM fan compared to the DC 3-pin fan that the Fractal Design fan was. This offers much more variability and control over the fan's RPM. The main downside I found was screwing in this fan. It seems a bit more difficult for some reason. The provided screws did not work for my case, so I used the screws that came with the case rather than the ones that came with the fan. I also put two sets of rubber mounts on both sides of the fan because it was going to be against the metal of the case and I wasn't sure if that would case vibration noise. Overall, very pleased with this product and the static pressure version of this fan. Highly recommend!Ver másVer menos

Amazing quality!
The perfect fan for a heat sync/radiator. Super quiet and reliable. My only gripe is the chroma variants don’t come with all the accessories like the regular fans. But that’s nitpicking because they are usually not needed anyway.

AV Cooling System Application
I created a system to provide cooling for an AV cabinet in a closet. Components include Aventage, Emotiva and Oppo. The cooling equipment used includes:1. Noctua Fans (3) (model# NF-S12A PWM)2. Noctua Fan controller (model# NA-FC1)3. Noctua Extension cables (model# NA-SEC1)4. Cablemod's molex to SATA cable (model# CM-CAB-MSAP 45KK-R)5. Coolerguys AC power adaptor (110V AC to DC 12V Power Supply with 4 pin Molex)The fans are laid flat on top of the receiver and amplifier pulling air up through the units. Of course, the anti-vibration corner pieces protect the AV equipment and prevent the fans from moving around. There is approximately 4" between the top of each AV component and the shelf above. This seems to allow sufficient air circulation.All Noctua components were packaged nicely and functioned perfectly out of the box. Connections are solid. Using the fans full speed, they are very quiet and are effective in keeping the components at less than 82F degrees. The Noctua Fan Controller is tiny -- about the size of a man's thumb.When setting up the system, I reached out to Noctua for some technical assistance. They were prompt and provided excellent guidance on connecting the power supply to the speed control (Cablemod's connector).The Cablemod's cable has solid connections and functions well. The only thing that would be nice is an outer sheath to keep all four wires together for a cleaner appearance.The Coolerguys AC power adaptor appears well made and functions well to power the three fans.Overall, the system has been running for about 1 month and I am quite satisfied with each of the components and would recommend them to anyone looking for an effective cooling system for an AV cabinet.Ver másVer menos

One of the best exhaust fans
If you have an exhaust area on your pc case that has large openings this is the fan to put there. Will move a bunch of air while barely making any noise. On my pc case (Lian li a3) there is only one exhaust slot so this fan works perfectly. However if you have a case with multiple exhaust/large opening areas. Putting multiple of this fan might get pricey!Ver másVer menos

Moves air, no noise.
Great Fan.Even at max rpm it makes very little sound.The little rubber edge protectors, you will not use 20 of them/fan. They can be used on other fans, you might have to modify them but they will work.Only thing that is annoying about this fan is the fact that it does not have a long cable connected to the fan itself. It is really short, and barely reaches the outside of the fan's outside plastic.(does come with 12" extension.) With that big 4 pin connector that is a total pain to fish places and gets in the way, you have to mount them in a specific way.I got 2 fans and put them both in the front of my NZXT Phantom 410 Mid Tower Case. I needed 4 pin cable extensions to get them plugged into the mother board. Super efficient and Super Quiet! Better than expected!
I purchased two of these fans to replace the fans that were originally supplied with my Corsair H80 CPU cooling system. The Corsair fans were staggeringly loud and it was not possible to properly control the operating speed via the system BIOS.When I first turned on my computer after installing the Noctua fans, they were so quiet that I had to check to make sure they actually were running! I connected the fans to the CPU fan connectors (my system has two, CPU_Fan and CPU_OPT) rather than to the connections on the H80 pump housing. I then connected the controller for the H80 to the Pump connector on the MB.After booting the system into the BIOS, I set the two H80 fans to run as PWM controlled off the profile curve and I was in business! Maximum CPU temperature when running CPU-Z stress tests is 57 Deg C. Normal CPU temp lightly loaded runs 35 to 40 Deg C.Build quality of these fans seems excellent. Perfect if you want a completely black fan
Everyone should know Noctua and how great their fans are. The Chromax line brings the great Noctua performance without their signature beige/brown look. The fans are quiet, moves a lot of air, has great build quality, and the cables are wrapped for that extra quality feel.I only have two issues with these fans.The fan cable exits the fan and immediately attaches to an extension cable through a bulky pwn header/connector. This could be an issue if you'd prefer to orient the fan in a certain way as the cable cannot be neatly tucked between two fans.The colored vibration dampener rubber corners are a great touch if you want the fans completely black, but not any other color. As there are only 4 of each color, you're limited to having the colors on only one side of the fan.If you want to match the colors on both side of the fan, you're out of luck. If you want to have vibration dampening on both sides of the fan, you're going to end up with mismatching colors.If they fixed these two issues, the fan would get a 5/5 rating from me.Ver másVer menos

Silent, Steathly, Good Air Flow
Wow. Only when you have fans directly next to each other can you really hear the difference. For case side panel airflow I had a stock 200mm Cooler Master Fan then 4x 120mm Corsair AF Quite Edition Fans and now 4x Noctua NF-S12A fans. I must say the Noctua NF-S12A are more silent and provide the same if not more airflow even at max rpm. The cable is a bit shorter than the grey Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700. I like that the 4 pin cable is short and was able to use a splitter cable on the fans and turn the cables that the Noctua fans come with into extension cables. Wish the fans came with splitters or more extension cables. The vibration pads work really well in stopping fans from rattling case at high rpm and you have a few colors to suit your preference. I might not use all the colors on current PC, but it is nice that there are plenty spares and able to use on other Noctua Fans like the grey Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700.Ver másVer menos

Not Brown, Powerful and Extremely Quiet
Noctua fans are honestly like magic, they're both very powerful and quiet.I installed mine as the rear exhaust for my NZXT H500. As per headline this fan is extremely quiet, even pegged at 100% power I can barely hear it. Not to mention that's without even using any anti-vibration pads on the the case side.Chromax fans are black and can be colour matched easier than the normal brown Noctua uses, which on top of the 6 year warranty, outstanding performance and being nearly silent, pretty much makes them the best PC fans available in my opinion.The one downside to the Chromax fans is they lack most of the accessories included with the standard line. They don't include the low noise adapter, fan splitter or anti-vibration mounts, they replaced those with a bunch of coloured anti-vibration pads instead.These are definitely a great buy.If Noctua's not the seller though, wait for them to restock. Some sellers are price gouging hard with these, selling them at nearly double what Noctua does.Ver másVer menos

Noctua NF-S12A Ottime per Air Flow del case
Ho preso due ventole della Noctua NF-S12A da 120mm per migliorare l'air flow del mio case, infatti vanno montate nel case. Sono ottime da installare, in estrazione o immissione hanno un eccellente efficacia del flusso d'aria e sono super silenziose, insomma sono ideali per il raffreddamento del case. Quando il postino mi ha consegnato il pacco di Amazon (in anticipo rispetto alla consegna stabilita) contenente le due ventole mi sono accorto che aprendole tutte e due, in una ventola lo scatolino dei gommini anti vibrazione non era sigillato come l'altro ed era un pò strappato, mi sono anche accorto che mancavano le viti. Ho contattato subito il produttore Noctua e l'ho fatto presente: non me l'hanno fatto ripetere, si sono scusati per il disaggio e mi hanno spedito un set di viti. Purtroppo sono imprevisti che succedono l'importante è rimediare. Sono stati cortesi e professionali si vede già da questo che è un'azienda seria che fa prodotti di prima qualità, le ventole sono un pò care ma come si sa la qualità si paga. Sono soddisfatto e per tutto questo metto 5 stelle. Mi riservo in futuro se devo aggiornare la recensioneVer másVer menos

Leise aber leistungsstark
Ich wollte meine Lüfter ersetzen, da die vorherigen etwas laut waren. Da ich mir erst ein Noctua CPU Lüfter (NH-12DL chomax black) kaufte ich mir noch den Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax black für die Gehäuserückseite. Ich bin überrascht wie leise und kräftig der Lüfter ist. Selbst 60% Leistung sind in meinem Falle ausreichend und somit ist der Lüfter beinahe lautlos. Die Anti-Vibrations-Pads machen ihren Job gut und kommen in verschiedenen Farben. Die Qualität der Noctua Lüfter ist sehr hoch und überzeugte mich von der Marke. In Zukunft werde ich hier wieder kaufen!Positives :- Hohe Kühlleistung und trotzdem angenehm leise- gute Anti-Vibrations-Pads in verschiedenen Farben- hohe Qualität der Materialien und Verarbeitung- einfache InstallationNegatives:- etwas teurer als andere Lüfte, aber die Qualität ist mir das wertVer másVer menos

Quem conhece a marca já sabe o que esperar dos produtos, eficiência e silêncio e essa aqui não é diferente. Zero ruído e cumpre muitíssimo bem o papel dela (uso como exaustor traseiro do gabinete)
