Great quality tape that is versatile
This is a great product. It works great. I've used it many times to hang up hexagon lights and 3D wall panels. Overall it functions perfectly, and the stickiness is good. Overall. The dimensions are great to stick on heavy objects. And it'll last for a long time. The tape is pretty thick, but it leaves residue, but it's not that much of an issue. The quality of these Command strips is great overall; the dimensions and everything are great. I am not disappointed with this product. It is reliable all the time.Ver másVer menos

These are my go-to solution for sticking stuff to the walls
I design various parts for things around the home or other projects, which I then 3D print, some of which end up hanging on a wall. My go-to solution for wall mounting most things are these large 3M command strips, which, as long as there is enough of a tab sticking out, are easily removed. My latest design was a simple remote control holder which mounted to a wall using these large command strips, and it worked perfectly. The primary benefit from these command strips is of course that they stick well, but can be removed without ripping up a wall. That is only the case though, if there is enough of a tab sticking out that can be grabbed and pulled straight down (or up), to release the tape. If that tab breaks or there is not enough of it sticking out to grip, it is just like using regular foam double sided tape, and will likely damage the wall when removed (which has happened a couple times to me). So just keep that in mind when placing the strips, and don't cover the tabs where they cannot be accessed to remove the strips. I think they could improve the design by adding a reinforced hole in the tab that could be hooked with a flat tool to pull down and remove, or possibly just add some texturing to the tabs to make them easier to grip, since being unable to grip the tabs when removing the strips has been my only issue.Ver másVer menos

Replacement strips that work
I needed some replacement Command strips for some previously used hooks to hang curtains. This box of 20 large strips came in a VERY oversized box. I appreciate that the manufacturer included a guide printed on the inside of the lid, showing which strips to use for specific different weights (even though this box only contained large strips, which hold 5lbs each). However, the box does not open cleanly along the perforated areas and it is not resealable, so I have to move the extra strips into another container for storage anyway, making the printed information useless unless I tear off the lid and fold it up. Having that info printed on a small piece of paper would have been more useful.The command strips work well if you follow the directions and stick them on, then let them sit for 24 hrs before hanging anything on them; they definitely need time to adhere well. They are easy to use, and easy to remove. Replacement strips are difficult to find in stores and these products generally come in a small resealable plastic container, so I’m not sure if this box is a new or old presentation.
