It's crazy....but I love this watch!
I've had this watch for about 3 weeks now. First, let me say that my days of Mountain climbing, backpacking, and hiking, in my 20's and early 30's, are well behind me. As such, this watch is completely impractical considering its functions, but I don't care. I just like the way it looks. I'm basically a Seiko tool-watch guy, and this is my first foray out of that fold, to a Citizen Eco-Drive. Aside from needlessly checking altitude and compass headings for amusement, I've found it to be an extremely accurate time keeper. I've set the watch to the atomic clock, and found it to have only gained 1 second within a 72hr. Time period. I've never experienced that level of accuracy with any mechanical watch. I guess there's something to be said for quartz. Citizen's documentation (online, not in the box) claims water resistance to 200 meters, but it doesn't have a screw down crown, which is strange. The compass bezel for lining up with magnetic North is bi-directional. The rubber strap is heavy but durable, but I think I'll be switching it out to a NATO strap for comfort. Amazing watch. Looks great and feels fine on my wrist. It's not big and bulky. The dials don't push into my wrist. I highly recommend this watch.

The Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Promaster Altichrom at an affordable price and is worth it. This is really one of the best looking watches you will see. The images taken were done right out of the box it was shipped in. Not only is it easy to set up but it is so well designed and looks fantastic.Ver másVer menos

Nice Watch.
Great looking watch. Ok, the altimeter isn’t super accurate and you should calibrate the compass regularly but I’ll likely never use those features. I purchased the watch for its looks. It’s big and chunky which I like. Didn’t care for the strap but then I rarely do. I’m so used to wearing tactical watch bands that anything else feels weird. Replaced the stock silicone strap with a Ritchie band.Ver másVer menos

Nice watch one of my favorites from citizen
Nice solid watch. Accurate. Eco drive works good. Get a compliment every now and then. No regretsWas almost 100 dollars cheaper here than on this cruise ship where i first saw it.

Pretty reliable everyday work watch for casual labor.
I bought this watch about 8 months ago and have worn it daily since. The watch is thick and kind of heavy but it's also sturdy and hasn't gotten any scuffs on it. The numbering looks nice but is hard to read at night time. The watch hasn't required any maintenance so far besides changing the time for daylight savings. It stays charged all the time but I do live in a pretty sunny place.The bezel has gotten a little sticky but loosens up after a couple rotations.The compass works well and I use that every day for work.I remember reading somewhere that the altimeter doesn't work in humid climates. The altimeter doesn't really work anywhere that I have been to whether I was in Florida, Arizona, NYC, or New Orleans. I tested it in all of those places and I just wouldn't rely on it.It's easy to adjust the compass and altimeter if needed.I haven't worn it swimming but I've worn it in some torrential rain storms that were almost like swimming and there were no problems with the watch. Everyday stuff like washing my hands or doing dishes with the watch on has been fine.I thought the rubber band It comes with was pretty ugly and sticky so i just ordered a 4 pack of nylon nato straps for $12 and have only used one since.Ver másVer menos
