Wow, these things are one of those things that you always needed but you didn't know that you did or even that they existed. I recently purchased a "Barbie" pool, and living in Arizona I did not want to burst into flames while I was lounging in my fabulous "Barbie" floating lounger, so I put up a pop-up canopy over the pool. I got these weights to try to keep the pop-up where I wanted it, and frankly, hopefully somewhere in my yard. So far we have had winds in excess of 30 miles an hour, and my little pop-up-who-could just stayed right where I left him. They really work, look great, arrive quickly and don't cost a bunch. Win, win, win, win! Okay, they don't show in the picture, but they really are holding down the canopy. I might just be showing off. :)Ver másVer menos

I used these in the base of a small triple spreading canopy. They are a really good option at a really reasonable price. They fit nicely in each corner with the groove going over the cross legs. 40 pounds has been ample for keeping this umbrella down in some decent winds. Nothing crazy, but still exactly what I needed. Plus with the carrying strap you can use them to curl and build those guns.😜 Oh yeah, made in USA baby!Ver másVer menos

Heavy duty great workout just carrying them from the car!
Chose the set of 4, 40lb total weights. They are heavy duty, and fit the canopies up to 1 1/2" diameter legs. We have a smaller tent, so the opening slid on extremely easily. The strap works as expected, very heavy when strapped, but hey, now I don't need to buy a medicine ball either!Ver másVer menos

Centralized weight distribution.
The weights are made of good quality. The strap is nice and wide to hold 40-120 pounds in weight. I personally as a woman and someone with a physical lifting handicap, like how that slit in the weights are wide enough I can easily fit my hand and fingers in to carry one in each hand without help. I recommend for anyone who might have trouble with like a sand bag where the weight is pulling down when carried, the weigh these are easy to hold make the weight, maybe only to me (again), make the weight feel more centralized and lighter? I have not tested it on the canopy yet, but I have no doubts about the product description to hold my canopy to the ground.Ver másVer menos

Quality but missing the strap.
Works very well. Helps keep the legs on the ground even in decent winds.Is there a way to get the strap that was suppose to come with them. My box did not include one.
