Great beard kit, especially for dry skin under the beard
I picked this up mainly to improve how I apply beard oil and deal with some dry skin under my beard, and it’s been working really well.The boar bristle brush does a great job of getting the oil all the way down to the skin instead of just sitting on the surface. That alone made a noticeable difference for me. I had some dryness under my beard, and using this helped exfoliate a bit while also distributing the oil better, which cleared things up.The wooden comb feels good in the hand and seems well made. I like that it has both a coarse and fine side, so you can use it for different beard lengths or styles. It has a natural wood smell, nothing chemical or off putting, just a light wood and finish scent that fades quickly.Everything is very easy to use, whether you are just brushing oil through or doing some light grooming. The brush has a good balance of firmness and softness, so it works well without feeling too harsh on the skin.Appearance is clean and simple, nothing flashy but it looks like a quality set. The size and fit of each piece feels right in the hand and easy to control while using.The scissors are included and do cut well, but I haven’t used them much since I usually stick with clippers for trimming. Still nice to have as an option.It also comes with a travel bag. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s perfectly sufficient for keeping everything together and makes it easy to carry or pack if needed.For the price, this feels like a good value.
