  Pillows need this

  This is our second set! Originally purchased for our guest room but then one night used one of those pillows for our room. They made the pillows feel great so ordered a second set so that all pillows have one.

  "Time will tell but I like what I received"...

  At my yearly physical my MD and I were discussing my allergies and sinuses. He recommend washing my comforter/bedspread more often and getting hypoallergenic pillow protector cases. These standard cases fit my standard or queen pillows nicely. I bought brand new hybrid memory foam pillows to go with them so that I start off with a new clean product inside of a new clean product.I like that they are designed to block bed bugs, protect from stains and perspiration (100% waterproof per product box) and are hypoallergenic. The material is very soft and smooth and has an "almost" silky quality to it. There is a zipper on the case to keep everything sealed and secure. I placed my regular pillow case over the top for extra protection and because I wanted something slightly less smooth/silky on my face.The only real con here is the "wash and care" instructions on the product box which are very specific. I did follow them to the letter except I washed them on cold since I never almost never use anything but the cold cycle and I sometimes roll the dice based on personal experiences washing various fabrics. I washed them with other delicate fabrics only. I chose to air dry them by hanging them up inside my condo various using the dryer.All in all, it looks to be a quality product and I am happy with them so far. Hopefully they will provide additional relief from allergens while I sleep.Ver másVer menos

  New Purpose - Using it over a king-sized pillow to make a waterproof dog bed!

  This pillow protector should work fine for the intended purpose of keeping the pillow dry and protecting from bugs. I decided to use it to make a custom dog bed. I actually turned it inside-out and covered it with a pillow sham. This way, if my dog is sick or pees, the "bed" is not ruined and I can wash the shame and just wipe off the pillow protector. It's nice because while waterproof, it is quiet and makes no sounds from the plastic part. If you use it normally, the outside is soft material and the waterproof part is a liner. For me inside out worked for my unusual use. My dog is almost 18 and she ruins a lot of dog beds. Now she is comfortable, it looks great, and the wrinkles from shipping smooth right out. I did not care about the color because pillow protectors go under a pillowcase. The zipper works great and is hidden.Ver másVer menos

  The ultimate allergy pillow protector!

  I needed a pillow protector that would prevent allergens from the down in the pillow from coming out. I had already put 3 pillow protectors on the pillow, one of which was specifically for allergenic purposes but I was still waking up with nasal clogging. I’m married to these down pillows because they are the only pillows that do not aggravate my neck, causing migraines. I tried a 4th method of blocking by wrapping the pillow in plastic to create a barrier that would restrict air flow. It worked but the plastic wasn't properly sealed and some allergens passed out. I finally decided to try a pillow protector advertised as waterproof thinking that if water can't get through, neither could air.It works! I now have 3 pillow protectors, a sealed plastic cover, and the Four Season's Waterproof Pillow protector on each pillow and I wake up with clear sinuses!Ver másVer menos
