One of the few baby toys that actually stayed a favorite
I bought these blocks for my daughter’s first Christmas when she was about 6 months old. She’s almost 2 years old now, and they are still firmly in her Top 5 favorite toys, which says a lot considering how many toys have come and gone over the past year and a half.At 6 months old, she enjoyed holding the blocks, exploring the different shapes, and dumping them out of the bucket. As she’s gotten older, she’s started using them for shape matching, sorting, stacking, and imaginative play. It’s been fun to see how the toy has grown with her developmental stages instead of being something she quickly outgrew.The blocks are lightweight, durable, and easy for little hands to grasp. They’ve been dropped, thrown, stepped on, and chewed on over the months, and they’ve held up remarkably well. The storage bucket is also a huge plus because cleanup is quick and all the pieces stay together.I also love the Navy Fawn color scheme. It’s a more modern, neutral look than the bright primary-colored version I remember growing up with, while still being engaging for babies and toddlers.As a parent, one of my favorite things is getting lasting value from a toy, and this has absolutely delivered. Nearly 18 months later, my daughter still reaches for these regularly.
