Great Laptop, You won't regret it.
I've had this laptop for a few days. I'd consider myself a computer nerd, Love new tech and I was in the market for a new laptop, my old Lenovo recently met the end of its usefulness.I bought the 1080p, 256gb ssd, I7, 8gb ddr4, 1060 version of this Alienware 13 r3. The intent was to add another ssd and more ram.Immediately after receiving this device, I played on it with the purchased specs, and it was pretty snappy and fast.I since have added a 1tb m.2 ssd 2280 length in the secondary slot, that only took a couple minutes to add, along with 8gb more of ram.The machine performs admirably. I play civ5 and diablo 3 on it alot, and its very satisfying. It more then meets my performance expectations.Thing I'm most impressed with, is the build quality, oh my. As a mech. engineer, I like the durability, and choice of materials of this laptop. I feel like I really purchased something strong and that will last.I've owned quite a few desktops for gaming, and laptops for business, or gaming. This is up there as one of the best I've had or played with. I will be using this with Office 2016, and surfing the web, and gaming lightly. So far, I highly recommend it. The size is nice for portability, it isn't too heavy for me. I've noticed it gets warm like most gaming laptops, but nothing that's worry-some.I really can't say enough good things about it. Like other reviewers have said, about the Facial Identification. It's nice as well.Buy it if you want performance and small size factor.Ver másVer menos
