  Great item

I recently picked up the IVANKY 4K Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter, and I have to say, it’s been a game changer for my setup. As someone who frequently connects my laptop to various monitors and projectors, this adapter has truly impressed me.The 4K resolution at 30Hz is just beautiful. Whether I’m streaming a movie or giving a presentation, the clarity and color are vibrant. I’ve noticed how much better my visuals look compared to other adapters I've used in the past. You can feel the quality when you hold it. The gold-plated connectors and braided cable not only look sleek but also seem to promise durability. I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about it breaking down after a few uses. Its compact design fits easily in my laptop bag. I love how I can just grab it and go without worrying about extra bulk.Overall, I’d highly recommend the IVANKY 4K Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter. It’s been reliable for me, and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. If you need a dependable way to connect your devices, this one is definitely worth considering.Ver másVer menos

  Excellent quality and works

This adapter worked perfectly right out of the box. I connected my older MacBook to an external 4K monitor, and the picture was sharp, clear, and completely stable. There was no flickering, signal loss, or setup hassle just plug it in and it works. The braided cable and gold-plated connectors give it a premium feel, and it seems much more durable than the cheaper plastic adapters I've used in the past. It's also compact enough to throw in a laptop bag without worrying about it getting damaged. If you need a reliable Mini DisplayPort/Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI adapter, this is an excellent choice. Great build quality, dependable performance, and well worth the price.Ver másVer menos

Great video Adapter for Older Surface

Anyone that has a Microsoft surface knows that it’s a real pain to connect to any external monitor without buying an additional adapter. It’s nice to be able to use my secondary laptop for when I’m on call, it works perfectly and it’s inexpensive.

Simple and reliable mini DP to HDMI adapter

Picked up this adapter for an older shared MacBook in our office, mainly to connect it to TVs and projectors in the conference room. We’ve been using it almost every day since we got it, and everything has been working without any issues so far. The build feels solid, and the connector itself seems well-made, which gives me some confidence that it’ll hold up with frequent plugging and unplugging. We use it for presentations during meetings and occasionally for hooking up a projector to play videos, and even during longer sessions the connection stays stable. It’s been a reliable little adapter overall, and worth having around if you need a simple, dependable way to connect Mini DisplayPort devices to HDMI displays.Ver másVer menos

Great Build Quality and Works Well

This is a decent choice for a thunderbolt/mini-displayport to HDMI dongle. I use this with my 2012 MacBook Pro to connect to a monitor at my desk and sometimes to connect to a TV screen for presentations. I've also got a AmazonBasics dongle that I use, so I'll compare the two. First off, the build quality on this dongle is really nice, with great metal construction and braided cable. It really seems built to last. It's also more compact than most other dongles, as the connector is roughly the same size as the head of an HDMI cord, whether the AmazonBasics dongle is about 3x larger. My reason for docking one star, is that while I've never had issues using this with the monitor at my desk, I've found this is more sensitive to bad HDMI cords, and it doesn't work well at the TV screen I use for presentations. With the AmazonBasics dongle, the signal will sometimes cut out momentarily in the middle of a presentation, so I blame the underlying issue on a poor quality HDMI cable, but I have had several times when I couldn't get a signal with this dongle and then when I switched to the AmazonBasics adapter, it worked. Therefore, if you're getting to be traveling with this and using someone else's HDMI cord and equipment, be aware than this dongle seems to be more sensitive to bad setups than most. However, due to the much superior build quality and minimalist design, I still recommend this adapter, especially if you are using this on your equipment, and with your own HDMI cord, that you control the setup of.Ver másVer menos
