Short Longevity
I was suddenly in a position to where I needed to ware a compression socks on a daily basis. I was told to shop around on Amazon. Not knowing what to expect I found them extremely snug and difficult to put on at first. After a couple days they became easier to put on. So after a few pairs I have noticed some similarities to how they hold up. After a couple of weeks I noticed that the compression has loosened. They were not as tight and they started to slip down my legs. They also tend to start fraying at the heel since the heel of the sock is not as thick as the rest of the sock. I hand wash them to try and keep them from getting beaten up in the washer. I usually get a months worth of ware out of them. Before they become soft and loose there shape. For the price I think they could last a little longer. But overall they do the job.Ver másVer menos

Made In USA Is What Sold Me on These Stockings
15-20 mm Hg is about twice the normal pressure of blood in our veins, or so I am told and on my first visit to the vascular surgeon, the Physician's Assistant measured me for the size I ended up buying. They give a nice snug feel but not so tight it feels like you have two Anacondas wrapped around your legs and with such a low compression rating, no Rx from a physician is needed. I bought two sets so I can always keep a clean pair in reserve and I just hand wash them in the sink with some mild liquid soap you pump out of a counter dispenser in the bathroom.Getting them on at first was tricky but once you get the hang of it, it is not a problem. During treatment for my veinous insufficiency, I had to keep them on for a day and that meant sleeping with them on and it was not a problem doing that.The imported ones are the same price, but I chose the US brand, and I am not disappointed at all.Ver másVer menos

Usually a great product
Product is usually good . But on my last order I received one black pair when I ordered 2. One pair was gray. And a shorter size.

They do not last .
I found that they slip from the front and slide back. I also noted they they do not last as long as I expected for the money I spent. They tore around the ankles on two out of three of the previous orders. But they work better comfort wise then the heavier compression socks I have ordered and since I have to wear them 12 hours a day 6 days a week comfort is very important so I just face the reality I will have to replace them every so many months.Ver másVer menos
