Worth grabbing one of these.
It fit my screens perfectly. I really like the way it feels over the feel of the console's actual screen. I've yet to see any scratches. It's really easy to apply and doesn't look really any different. Very solid.

Do your research, but I would recommend..
I used the advice of many previous users and personally, I had no issues applying my screen protector. I put them on my 3ds in a steamy bathroom and tape to align and it came out so good, no dust, no bubbles.I was worried the bottom screen would affect gameplay bc it has most of the discussion in these reviews. Top screen fit perfect, bottom screen causes gaps, but honestly, I personally placed the bottom screen protector lower and not evenly distributed, and all my gaming and modding work just fine! It’s pretty good product so far, I had no issue. I did just receive it but, it does exactly what I need it to do and looks super good. Maybe do a little more research but I would recommend this screen protector as a solid first or second pick.Ver másVer menos

This is the screen protector you need!
This is the third kind of screen protector I installed and it finally seems to work. The bottom screen protector does not get scratched up with regular use of the stylus. Buy this! All the other brands scratch up within 20 minutes of installation. It’s ridiculous. Hopefully this will be helpful so no one has to go through my frustration the last several days. I cannot confirm about the top screen protector as I did not need to use it but scratches would not be an issue on the top screen protector in any case. Installation is the usual pain as with all screen protectors - nothing a can of air and the trick of taping the screen protectors prior to installation and applying isopropyl alcohol before installation can’t address. The fit is ok - the top and bottom margins might be bigger than what I am used to but it gets the job done. It does not affect the image quality. Fingers crossed it continues performing this well!Ver másVer menos

Almost Perfect
I have a NES Edition 3DS XL The tempered glass screen is a nice touch and will protect your screen from fingerprints and dust, but it is not a perfect fit leaving a chance for dust or debris to get underneath the protector. The best way is to center the screen protecter as best as possible so the screen is fully covered. The touch screen, screen protecter however is a perfect fit.Ver másVer menos

Good quality, fair price
The tempered glass for the top screen is perfect, nice smooth edge, no bubbles, perfect clarity. And it was easy enough to me to apply, you should be good as long as you're careful and precise, and you're in a clean environment, I wouldn't apply screen protectors with long sleeves on, don't want any tiny amount of lint or dust flying off between when you clean the screen and apply the protector. The PET film didn't hinder use of the resistive touchscreen and it feels good to use the stylus on, but I do have some bubbles, though I can't exactly fault the protector for that as I dumbly used a paperclip as a stylus years ago gouging the screen, so that is probably why I have a couple bubbles and I really just got this to cover it up and make it feel smooth to use a proper stylus on again, which it does perfectly. I've actually had this applied for a few years now, not constant use y'know it is still a 3DS after all, but I will say, the protectors have held up perfectly. For the money, this is a perfect value I'd say, even though it's price has gone up a bit since bought it, still $15 is totally fair for two custom screen protectors for an older device like the 3DS XL which certainly doesn't have the economies of scale nowadays of something like an iPhone 17 screen protector which'll sell a lot more.Ver másVer menos

Great Hori Substitute! A few extra steps may be needed to make application process easier
Was initially pretty skeptical of this product given some of the reviews I've read were about how difficult the application was, but I just finished applying mine and I'm pretty satisfied! Didn't even have to use the second set it came with.I used this on my old 3DS XL model, and to whoever says it only fits the New 3DS XL is wrong, because mine fit quite perfectly so I believe its for both. If your screen was already in rough condition before with a lot of scratches or deep ones, it'll probably make applying it way harder and leave inevitable air bubbles, so that's not really the fault in the product itself. The top screen feels nice and sturdy, and the bottom screen protector is thin enough to not hinder the touchscreen detection, but its good enough to protect it from scratches. I've also seen a lot of complaints about the bottom screen protector not fitting completely, but I believe it was designed to have small gaps due to the bottom screen itself having raised edges. This would mean it would be difficult to peel it off if you wanted to remove it.Some helpful tips I have to make the application easier is before actually peeling off the back sticker, align the screen protector how you want it, then place a long enough piece of scotch tape along the top of the screen protector and the outside edge of the screen. This helps the screen protector stay in place while you lift the opposite side and peel off the backing. If you do this right, it should lay itself the way you originally placed it. Also, if you're having issues with getting dust out, I highly recommend using a compressed air can to gently blow any leftover bits out right before you apply it.Doing all this, mine turned out near perfect I'd say. I unfortunately had a bit of dust stuck underneath my touchscreen protector, which left a small air bubble, but the adhesion of the product is pretty good because all of them basically go away after awhile. You could also gently rub at the area with cloth to speed it up. The tiny piece of dust is still there for me, but its hardly noticeable, and the pesky air bubbles are all gone at least! The only negative I have to say about this product really is probably the blue electrostatic sticker it came with. BE WARY WHEN USING IT, especially on the touchscreen. It's extremely sticky and almost feels like you're about to pull the screen off, so I recommend just using a microfiber cloth and an air duster to get any dust out.
