  We've used these for years and they rarely rip. They fit perfectly, work efficiently, and are mess-free. Even with loads of around 30 lbs, the drawstring remains durable.   The only kitchen trash bags I use

  Strong, flexible trash bags that smell good and keep down the "garbage" smell. They fit my 12 gallon trash receptacle really well and don't tear when I overfill them. My only complaint with these Hefty kitchen bags would be that sometimes the ties break if I have anything heavy in the bags....but the bags themselves don't!
