This saw is well worth the money!
Great saw. I love the extras that my old Skil saw did not have. This company makes wonderful products. It does the work easily and is not too heavy.

As Advertised.
Great saw, bought it for the laser guide, which makes more accurate cuts for us DIY folks. Carrying case OK, nothing fancy. For what I do, right price and right durability. More of a DIY saw.

Easy to use
This saw is amazing. It powered through everything I cut without a single problem. This is my 3rd skilsaw brand skilsaw. I own 4 skilsaws and 3 of them are skilsaw brand. I have watched one video on here where the person had the blade backwards. There is nothing wrong with this saw and would purchase it again if needed but my dream skilsaw is the 16 and 5/8 beam saw skilsaw which will be on my list. I am a wood finisher and buy and sell wood privately. I used this saw to cut all the bad out of my lumber when I grade it before stacking it. It is 5 star all the way. A lot lighter than my 10" and easy to use. No regrets in purchasing this saw. The laser light is assume. These pics should speak for this sawVer másVer menos

Great tool but…….
Great tool but it’s HEAVY. Plenty of power for fast accurate cuts. The laser works fine but it could be a little brighter for use in bright sun. Did I mention…… it’s HEAVY!

Don’t install the saw blade backward like I did 😀
Tip-Make sure you use a 15 amp rated extension cord to protect the motor (as stated in the owner’s manual)Great little saw and like the easy blade adjustment. Can’t really see the laser guide in sunlight, but probably awesome in a garage setting. Sweet machine for a great price.Ver másVer menos

Good saw for the price.
Purchased to replace an old B&D saw. Seems like it cuts better and definitely more power. Not pro quality Skil, but worthy of the DIY'er.The laser guide is very useful. As others have said, you want to aim it well ahead of the shoe. Unfortunately, in the sunlight the beam is difficult to see.Ver másVer menos
