If the "Incredible Hulk" was a Tool...
This heavy-duty hammer-drill is an absolute BEAST!Seriously: it's been able to handle everything we've thrown at it, including auguring out 2" and 8" diameter postholes is dense, clay soil. Wow! To find something more powerful, you'd probably need to look at pneumatic power tools that require a large compressor. This DeWalt runs on their 20V batteries and the combination really packs a wallop. We've also used it in hammer-drill mode to drill through, and jackhammer away concrete, without any problems. It's just a Beast. We highly recommend buying yourself a kit of adapters so you can use regular drill bits (i.e. that go into a standard chuck) as well as different sizes of sockets for working on stubborn, large-size nuts and bolts. We also purchased a set of SDS tools that include a chisel, a spade blade, a pointy-tip (good for digging a hole or digging dried dirt off our excavator's tracks) and a jackhammer tip for busting up rocks/concrete/etc. Having those in the drill's case (there's room!) means you can knock down any tough job that pops up in your way.The box, battery and charger are of the highest quality and DeWalt's product design team placed all the switches and various parts of this drill in just the right places and even our staff members with small hands (ladies, I'm talking to you!) reported that it was "fun" to use. Absolutely worth the price. And, since we keep it nice and dry and clean in its case, this drill will last us for many, many years.Ver másVer menos
