  Perfect! Read this for large size

  Man, let me tell you when I say I've never been so nervous about an amazon order before. I've wanted one of these for a long time but the reviews had me a little shook.I'm 6' tall and 210lbs. I'm definitely not fat but I do have a bit of a beer belly, the rest of me is pretty lean and muscular. I measured my chest at 44" while wearing a light hoodie. The size chart said I should be a large and so that's what I ordered. It fits perfectly, I can honestly say an XL would probably be too big. The large is not too tight, not too loose. I have plenty of room in my shoulders, and I can wear a flannel shirt and hoodie under it and button it closed comfortably. The arms are the perfect length for me as well, falling just past the wrist.I read a few reviews about the quality of the denim, I got the rinse color (dark wash) and it feels plenty high quality to me. No issues that I can see with the pockets, buttons, or stitching anywhere. I did however get a blank red tag on the front pocket which concerned me, I looked that up and apparently Levi manufacturers 10% of their products with blank red tags instead of saying "Levi" and supposedly that makes them more valuable because of the rarity? Whatever, I don't care about that as long as it's not a knockoff. I plan to wear this for a long time so the resell value is of little importance to me anyways. Even if it was a knockoff, I'd probably keep it anyways because of how good it looks.Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase and would recommend.Ver másVer menos

  Nice jacket

  Couldn't find this jacket in my size at the local stores, so bought it here for the same price. Size medium fits perfect (5'11 180lbs, athletic). The Large size was a little baggy and from what I've seen, you want it to be fitted so it will stretch to your body over time. Here's some advice for finding the right fit: go try these on in person first. The dark rinse (made in Bandgladesh) fits perfect, but when I tried on Mediums in the corduroy and Sherpa lined version (Made in China) of the same jacket they felt much too tight.... So there could be some variation depending on what style you get and where it's made. Anyway, I'm glad I went ahead and bought the Levi's brand... it looks well made, stylish, and should last for a very long time.Ver másVer menos

  A favorite jacket for my lifetime.

  I've always loved my Levi's Jackets. In times past, I was so disappointed when I outgrew my old ones! In some places, it's like wearing a badge and being a part of the community. Still, if you're working an a digital equipment room of some type, they usually keep the place pretty cool. This jacket is light enough to keep you comfortable without getting overly warm. Also, I live in a relatively warm climate. However, real early in the morning, it's pretty cold (for all or our north-eastern and mid-western friends that means, cold, not freezing.). So, if you do 'layers', this makes a really good under-layer along with a bit more weather-robust cold weather outer-jacket. And then, when the sun comes up, take off the outer layer and it's a really comfortable outer jacket for a few hours. I graded this one 'somewhat small' I'm a bit 'round', and hoping to 'grow into it' ... just sayin! :) Bu for my current size, I should have probably gone to the XXL. But I'm keeping this one ... it's been too long without one. I gave my last one away for the same reason ... outgrew it. This particular jacket is pretty blue, and doesn't fit right in with the 'faded look. I'm thinking it might need a little bit of the "Spin and Marty" treatment. (go look that one up). Still, all and all ... it's my new favorite.Ver másVer menos

  Nice. Warm. But stains.

  I bought this jacket because I thought it would be a very good in between too cold and cold. I go to school in Rochester, NY, so we run through all the different colds there are.The shoulder width was a little smaller than I expected, so getting the jacket on is a bit of a challenge. But once it is on, it feels really nice and warm.The jacket is very stiff, I'm not sure if it will go away with time, so getting the buttons to close takes longer than I wish to spend time on.Another downside is that it is a died denim jacket, so IT WILL STAIN YOUR OTHER CLOTHES.Ver másVer menos
