Nuts, Bolts, and Screws at your fingers
I got this to use at work primly as I would in the maintenance field in a highrise building. I find when you are up on the top of a ladder it is nice to have all the nuts, bolts and screws on hand when needed with no fear of dropping them while you are moving around. This armband has been great when installing or working on lighting fixtures and blinds in apartments. It is comfortable and the pad on the side with the magnet is large enough to hold a fair assortment of Bolts.screws, etc. The b and is solid construction and the seems are well done as I have not seen any fraying edges even with the hell is has been put through. I will be buying another one soon enough as my coworker keeps stealing it to use it, when is the start it didn't think it was that interesting or useful but has very quickly come around.Pros- Adjustable sizing, so works on any sized wrist just about- 2 pads on the side have magnets so you have enough space for a fair number of items- Magnets are pretty strong so you don't have to worry about items falling off of it with most any normal to heavy movement- Soft enough to not cause irritation to your arm with extended use- Velcro holds nice and tight so you have not worries of slipping or spinning- Seems on it seem pretty sturdy so it should last a fairly long timeCons- For my needs have not found any other then trying to get it back from my coworkerVer másVer menos

Great for as advertised, a work around if you want a tadge more.
Not bad. For what it is advertised as, it is quite sufficient. A major surprise, despite what I had read here I didn't believe these would, probably, fit. My wrist at the 'ankle' is 7 1/2", and broadens to pushing 9" in the span of this wrist band. So imagine my great surprise to see that there is a good three inches left for expansion.I bought two. One for general work on the home, auto, or such. One, actually, for fishing. While toggles are fine, sometimes I want two or three tools right and ready, plus the one in my hand. Cold water, long days, tiny work, and toggles can overload, killing the fun. So, I wanted something to, potentially, reduce confusion. While this band will work, mostly, for that, the magnets are a bit weak to be really trusted. However, I may have found a work-around. There are magnets, sold here, that are plates, the might just slid right into those compartments. Stronger, I am almost sure. Not sure of magnetic strength is all about the type, but may have something to do with the mass of the magnets? In any case, they sell 2x1x1/16* and 1/4 magnets. I am ordering both types, to see which will fit. The magnets on the band, while sufficient for smaller things, such as nails, are not really good enough for larger things from some simple experiments.*(CMS Magnetics® Neodymium Magnet N45 2 x 1 x 1/16" Rare Earth Rectangle Magnets, is one set)If you want it for as advertised use, they will work. If you want more strength, for larger items, you might need to tinker. Still, pleased. The one can be as is (though I may upsize it's magnetic strength), but the other, for more demanding purposes, just needs a little fix.Ver másVer menos

Works great
Very good quality and hold onto 3 inch drywall nails very good also 3 inch coated deck nails, which is amazing

Improved Quality of Life
This wristband has saved my life, my pets lives, and possibly the lives of strangers.I cowered in the corner of our living room as I handed this wrapped gift to my husband, our pets were hiding in the closet.You see, my husband is like the incredible hulk when it comes to home improvement projects, and dropping a single screw or nut or bolt is the equivalent to injecting him straight in the heart with Epinephrine - or RAGE. During just one episode, he had ripped up the hardwood floors, defenestrated our cats, and thrown the ladder out of the window down onto a pedestrian and their baby carriage below (we live on the 17th story of our building). I even caught him flash frying one of my pet fish in our deep fryer. Keep in mind - the fish had nothing to do with it!!!Since I got him this magnetic wristband, he hasn't dropped a single thing. In his new found happiness he has repaired all of the damage in our apartment, bought me new fish, and renewed our love life (previously he had given me up for his "Fleshlight"). Now instead of slamming the door into my face and breaking my nose he holds it open for me! He even holds open the cat door like a real gentleman!Buy this magnetic wristband. For a handyperson who has everything
This made a great gift to my wonderful neighbor, who is a fantastic handyman. He's done so much to save my house and my sanity, but is a hard one to pay back. His garage looks like a machine shop, tools galore. Turns out he did not have one of these! He proudly and happily displayed it full of screws, when he recently replaced my outdoor lighting. He really likes it! So do your mechanic/handyman a great service. Buy one or two of these. They're great!Ver másVer menos
