Update 2: After a month of consistently applying this product on what was likely contact dermatitis inflamed skin all over my body, my skin is starting to feel almost normal again. My hands are also healed mostly of my psoriasis outbreak which seems like a miracle. I was able to start doing my nails again and I feel so much better. Full disclosure, I do sparingly apply Cortizone-10 (1% Hydrocortisone) Intensive Healing Lotion for Eczema to very itchy areas and I also used Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash and Vanicream Gentle Body Wash. This Eucerin lotion is a reliable gem that I know won't sting even when I am experiencing the worst irritation. I am going to continue using it as my favorite hand cream even if I don't always use it as a body cream. One thing about using it as a body cream is that it is thick and hard to spread. I tend to prefer quickly spreading fragranced lotions for the body and may return to those if/when my skin is ready.Update: This superhero product has saved the day again! Unfortunately I ended up getting a very uncomfortable allergic reaction from another product. I don't usually have sensitive skin but developed very itchy bumps all over, where I used the other product. I knew what would help. I used the Eucerin Hydrating Cleansing Gel (face wash) as a body wash and then applied this Original Healing Lotion. After sleeping, the inflammation and itching felt more bareable and calmed. There is still redness but helping the itch makes it possible for the skin to heal. I will continue to keep both products in stock. The Gentle Face Wash I have been using for months and I purchased it to have an oil free face wash safe for DIY eyelash extensions. I discovered that it was also extremely gentle and pleasant to use as a hand wash for my psoriasis when everything else seemed to burn. I love these products!Original review:I am experiencing psoriasis on my hands which can be a painful and very debilitating condition. Aside from keeping my hands covered with gloves I have also tried several kinds of hand lotions such as Working Hands, Gloves in a Bottle, Workman's Friend, Gold bond (colloidal oatmeal), etc., and this "healing" lotion is the only one that truly soothes, CALMS, moisturizes and HEALS my hands without stinging and causing further irritation. Nothing else is as effective. Yes, this is a very sticky, thick and greasy lotion... But if your skin feels like it's on fire and nothing seems to really help, I encourage you to give this a try. Somehow my hands absorb this greasy lotion. I can see and feel the inflammation go down and healthy skin start to appear. I now don't know what I would do without this indispensable lotion.
